I would like to achieve the same result, but only on specific post loops. For example, I want my homepage articles (blog layoyt) to show the full rating template, but inside an article I have a ‘related posts’ loop below the article content. For the related posts, I want only the stars. Would it be possible?

Sure. I mean that there is no option in ‘Admin menu’ section to remove the ‘profile’ link on the left side. It always appears. Tried to reset menu using your option, and disabled all submenus also. It is still there.

I mean the whole admin environment is much slower. I am the site admin. Tried it on many sites. Disabling it makes the interface 5x faster (as it was before installing AGCA).

I have no intention to stop using AGCA because it is very useful. So it would be nice if its speed wasn’t such an important issue. ??

They are listed. But when they are selected to be used they still don’t appear (eg on pages list). They are all selected under ‘Screen options’.

This shouldn’t be the case. Bulk optimization takes a lot of time and resources, especially on sites with many photos. For me as a webmaster, it does not seem like a good idea that an editor (who can only add new posts) can accidentaly/intentionally click on bulk optimize and render the site (and most likely the low-end VPS server) unresponsive until 6000 images are optimized.

The images seem optimized, but it does not optimize the thumbnails (ie. the ones contained in ngg_featured directory). This results in Pagespeed ranking to drop.

I mean: instead of having a text field to add exceptions separated by commas, to add a box with a text field below, and an ‘Add’ button.

It would be nice if you would add the ability to add the exceptions in a tabular form, instead of comma-separated. This seems necessary since the whole philosophy of autoptimize is based on manual intervention.

In any case, I am happy to inform you that after hours of tweaking I now manage to get a pagespeed score of 91 (of 65-70 before). Thank you for your excellent work and support.

Already read the FAQ, and have played with all sorts of combinations for options. OK, so let me describe the issues.

1. Site will work OK if I put my main CSS in exceptions. In your opinion, is it good practice? I mean, is there a chance that the main CSS can be also minified or the exception is the only solution once it does not minify properly?

2. Tried also to minify JS. I haven’t noticed anything strange in page rendering, except for one ‘post slider’ that exists on homepage. I suppose it is based on jquery, so I just added jquery in exceptions. Playing with various options, I was able to eliminate all js errors, but it still does not work. The error produced is the following:

(index):6 Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).innerfade is not a function.

This is with no options enabled (just optimize on). Enabling other options cause more js errors. jquery.js is on exceptions.

In my case of course, I did not enable js and css optimize because it messes up everything. Any idea on how to avoid that would be great.

Is it possible to hide it without hiding whole menu and creating custom links?

SOLVED:

It seems that changing the star theme solved the problem. I was using the large stars, and changed it to the small ones.

Perhaps this should be fixed.
