In reply to: [WooCommerce] Set a user for admin sales@pettedemon I’m not sure if I’m misunderstanding the whole setup, but this looks to me like the order wasn’t placed as a guest, but when logged in to their account. If that is the case, then I’m afraid what you are trying to accomplish isn’t possible. You can’t have an account placing orders and have those orders NOT be linked to their account.
@sarahweb Ah, that makes sense. Thank you for clarifying here, as that might help others in the same situation.
I’m closing this thread now but feel free to start a new one if you run into any other issues.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Set a user for admin sales@pettedemon Even when creating a manual order through the wp-admin, you can set it up as a guest order by leaving the Customer field empty. See here:
Are you saying that even when creating the order like these, those are being counted towards the admin user that created them? If so, can you show me a screenshot of the particular report where you are seeing this?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce Product Image Size@als1 I think there might be some confusion around what that setting accomplish. The size entered there will not modify your theme’s image layout or the image container”. It will only change the size that images will be cropped to after getting uploaded. So, the behavior you are seeing is expected. If the dimensions of the image itself are 500px but your theme has got a container of 600px, then the image will be stretched to fit that space.
as the user can check out as a guest and without inserting any address info – has anyone got a way round this other than
@sarahweb Can you elaborate on this? That doesn’t sound right. As far as I know, even if the customer is checking out as a guest, once they are taken to the PayPal screen, billing information is requested from them to complete the payment in PayPal – so at that point an address would be needed. Whether they are new to PP or already have an account there with that information.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Shipping cost inclusive tax@simonili Out of the box, all shipping costs are always treated as exclusive of tax. There isn’t a setting to make them include tax.
If a feature like this would help, please consider commenting on this feature request to express interest in this option being implemented in the core plugin:
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/9320
If you’d like to modify that behavior now, custom coding would be needed. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in with suggestions.
I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.
You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the
#developers
channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce Local PickupHi @swawer, I used Google Translate to read your message in English:
I have set up a store for my company, this should give the possibility via Click & Collect. To define the pick-up locations, we bought the Woocommerce Local Pickup Plus plugin.
There I entered all locations and also the recipient emails for orders, etc., unfortunately these are not sent.
It sounds like you’ve bought the Local Pickup Plus extension from WooCommerce.com and are having issues with some of the functionality included.
This forum is intended for questions about the core WooCommerce plugin. For something like this, I’d recommend getting in touch with the support team of the plugin you are using. For the one you mentioned, you’ll want to login to your WooCommerce.com account and submit a support request from this page. Make sure to select the correct plugin from the dropdown in the form, so that you are redirected to the correct team.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Customer Choose 4 of 8 options@colormepink I think a plugin like Mix and Match Products would help you here.
From the plugin description:
Mix and Match is ideal for offering similar products in bulk containers. Perfect for encouraging customers to buy in bulk without forcing them to buy items that don’t interest them.
You set the size limit of the assortment (number of items needed to “complete” a container or pack) and define which items should be available to choose, while your customer maintains complete control over the quantity of individual products being packaged together.
I hope this helps!
