Hi @actiserver! This forum is geared towards questions about the core WooCommerce plugin. For enquiries about the Amazon Pay plugin, please refer to the corresponding forum:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce-gateway-amazon-payments-advanced/

Having said that, I can confirm that nothing has changed between the time that other thread was opened and now. The Amazon Pay plugin still adds the Amazon button at the top and bottom of the cart/checkout pages. That is the way that method is designed to be included by the plugin, and at this time there aren’t any settings within the extension to modify that.

As mentioned in the other thread, custom coding would be needed to modify that default style.

WooCommerce in itself wouldn’t be incompatible with those versions of PHP. In fact, those would be preferred.

The first thing you’ll want to try is conflict testing. It’s possible that software installed on your site is not compatible with these versions of PHP and might be creating a conflict that prompts these errors. To verify, you’ll want to temporarily switch your theme to Storefront. Then, disable all plugins on the site except for WooCommerce, and test for the issue.

If the issue is gone, you’ll then have to re-enable features one by one, while testing for the issue; until you find out which one is causing this behavior.

We recommend that these steps are taken on a staging site, which is a clone of your live site that you can modify without risking making any permanent damage to your live site. You can create it using a plugin like WP-Staging.

I also tried that ‘product images’ setting in the customize area of wordpress but it makes no changes that I can see.

When you adjust that setting to be 1:1, it will crop image thumbnails so that on your shop page all products have a square image. This will only apply to the archive (shop) page. Individual product pages will still display the image as it was uploaded. It’s also good noting that depending on the number of images and products that you have on your site, it might be several hours for the cropping to be completed after you have changed that setting.

Outside that setting, there isn’t any other way built into WooCommerce or the core WordPress software to automatically crop images after uploading them.

I’ll leave this thread open in case anyone else from the community has suggestions about plugins that might exist out there to solve this situation.

Just to add a bit of clarity, what I meant to say is that in order to create categories on your site, you’ll need to either:

    * Create them manually, or
    * Import them as part of a product import.

They can’t be imported on their own.

@mamandis Out of the box, the WooCommerce CSV importer will only import categories as part of a product CSV import. The categories need to be attached to a product in the correct format for them to be recognized. You cannot import categories separately on their own file.

I’d recommend reading the following document about the way the built-in product importer works:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/

It includes a sample of how the CSV file needs to be imported. That is the only format that will be recognized by the plugin, and as you’ll notice, it is built to import products, not categories on their own.

@designbysue Based on your description it does sound like the best solution would be to treat these as two separate WooCommerce installations. If the product catalog and other settings around shipping will have to be kept separate, I think that creating this as a single store will only create more complexity to try and keep items and settings separate.

You might want to look into setting up a WordPress Multisite Network, where you create two sites on the network with WooCommerce enabled on both.

@gotsnow I understand it might be frustrating to not receive help here, but this forum is aimed at providing assistance for the core WooCommerce plugin. We encourage you to reach out to the developer of the extension you need help with, through the correct contact form, so they can assist you with your enquiry.

@cfm168 There isn’t a section there specific to the shipping form, so it’s just one field for Phone. I was suggesting you check the settings there and see if changing them will affect the way it displays on your site.

If that doesn’t make any difference, I’d still suggest you complete the conflict test as I outlined above.

Ah, yeah, if that header is used on other post types then those would also be affected.

I’d recommend reaching out to your theme developer to see if they can help with some of the customizations around this. Otherwise, you might want to look into hiring a developer that can help you make more extensive changes to the look and style of your theme.

As this is related to the styling of your theme and not specific to functionality of the core WooCommerce plugin, I’ll go ahead and close this thread now.

Hola @alberferran. Esto dependerá de dónde exactamente quieres a?adir el horario de la tienda. Una de las opciones más fácil es incluirlo como parte del título del método de envío.

    Aquí un ejemplo:

En la página del carrito se vería así:

@nelsonx Where exactly in your store would customers find that field? There are a few options depending on where exactly you are looking to add this.

If it’s an option for the product page, I’d recommend using the Product Add-Ons, which will help you add custom input fields on product pages.

If you’d like to add a new field to the Checkout page instead, you might want to look into Checkout Field Editor, which allows you to add new fields to that page.

    I hope this helps!

@hazel2 Based on the description provided it sounds like you are looking for help modifying an option added by a third-party plugin. This forum is intended for questions about the core WooCommerce plugin and the functionalities included out of the box.

I’d recommend reaching out to the Yoast team, or post on their own forum, to get assistance with their plugin.

@cfm168 Out of the box, the Checkout page in WooCommerce includes a phone field for both the billing and shipping addresses. If it isn’t showing on your site, I’d recommend reviewing the settings for the phone filed under Appearance > Customise > WooCommerce > Checkout.

If the setting there isn’t Hidden, but it still doesn’t show, then it’s possible that other software on your site might be hiding the option. In this case, I’d recommend running a full conflict test.

You’ll want to temporarily switch your theme to Storefront. Then, disable all plugins on the site except for WooCommerce, and test for the issue.

If the issue is gone, you’ll then have to re-enable features one by one, while testing for the issue; until you find out which one is causing this behavior.

This plugin lets you copy and redeploy a WordPress site with minimal work.

@cfm168 Yes, order details are sent to the billing email address that has been saved in the order.

@rrobinson222 I don’t consider myself a CSS expert, but I believe this piece of CSS might do the trick:

    div.woocommerce-variation-description {font-weight:bold;}

You can add that from Appearance > Customise > Additional CSS.
