In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Calendar Grid not showingNick – thank you for asking these questions. I didn’t set this calendar up initially, and when I started digging, prompted by your questions, I found that the page displayed on the site was not the right page for the calendar feed.
The page I believe is set up properly now — this is the code in the main content of the page:
[google-calendar-events id=”1″ type=”grid” title=”” max=”20″]
and it is now displaying properly. Do you see anything I should adjust?Here is the page now: https://portsmouthhistory.org/calendar-2/
thanks!

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Review this before posting…Hello. Using this plugin on this site: https://portsmouthhistory.org/calendar-2/
Calendar ID 3148
Version of plugin: 2.2.5In the settings we have the Calendar Grid selected, but it isn’t showing up as a grid.
We would like the calendar to show as a grid, but how do we accomplish this?
thank you

In reply to: [Genesis Grid] Getting Warning message on category page, line 251So I found help elsewhere for this issue, not on this forum. I ended up dumping this plugin and creating a page template specifically for the category called “portfolio” and using that instead. No need for this plugin for what I wanted to accomplish.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Icons not showing up in Header WidgetYes, I just checked, and right now they are showing up. They weren’t there for several weeks, but now they are showing up so Google must have fixed something, or the plugin update took effect and the server cache updated. Magic! Thank you.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Icons not showing up in Header WidgetHi Andrea — How do themes override the CSS? I’m only having an issue in the Chrome browser with the icons not showing. Using the Studiopress Agency theme (not the pro version) https://portsmouthhistory.org
How can I fix it so that Chrome shows the icons? They are fine in Safari and Firefox.
thanks,
Grace4.0.19 was the version i upgraded to today, so it still is not fixed — and then had to spend almost 2 hours figuring out how to get my dashboard back. WP 3.8.2.
Thanks, maniaka, I ended up renaming the plugin folder, then downloading the wpconfig.php and removing these 3 lines from the top:
define( ‘FORCE_SSL_LOGIN’, true );
define( ‘FORCE_SSL_ADMIN’, true );
define( ‘DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT’, true );Then I uploaded the revised wpconfig.php file, and I was able to get into the dashboard, where I was able to delete the plugin and all of its files. I don’t have access to the database — it is GoDaddy, and I can’t get into the database to edit it. This seemed to work, and I won’t be using that plugin anymore. Going to move to GoDaddy’s new WordPress managed hosting, which is supposed to be more secure. How a plugin company can allow this B.S. to happen is beyond me.
Now I can’t do anything in the backend at all. I want to remove this plugin and everything associated with it!
