Have you accidentally renamed a login.php file to login.do? Or selected that you want the login file to be login.do instead of login.php?

Might not be right, but it’s an idea…

EDIT – never mind, other people got there first.

You can use phpMyAdmin to edit the database if you really need to. I have not really had to use it much as I am not that fantastic with php. All I’ve needed is a basic knowledge of CSS and (X)HTML.

Though if you are looking into blogging, I would highly recommend WordPress, not least for this support forum. Once you’re set up, you’ll probably find the answer to any problem here.

I’ve also found that https://www.w3schools.org is a real help when learning CSS

The CSS will be things like background-color, color. If you can’t find it within the CSS file, add it yourself :). Glad I could help

I think it’s in “files”. You can then select a file to edit. If underneath it says “if this file was writable you could edit it”, there are various threads within this forum which can tell you how to enable it.

Then just select the style.css and edit the sections you want.

It should be within your admin panel – as long as you have enabled it, within “manage” (I think – someone please correct me if I’m wrong) you can edit the colours you want.

If it still doesn’t make sense, I’d appreciate it if someone else roaming the forum could give me a hand explaining!

At the risk of repeating myself, have you tried editing your style.css file in Notepad or something?

I’m sure there’s a file in WordPress that’s called “style.css”. Just edit that…

If you use the stylesheet, you can specify what colours you want where. If you don’t know CSS, I suggest the tutorials at https://www.w3schools.com. Enjoy!

I have tried, and asked round here but no-one seems to know how to do it without using Mass Edit. Which makes it take ages. Not sure that many people are using Photopress, but if you put it into a search here at the www.ads-software.com forums it does turn up a fair amount of useful info ??
