Just to update.
The only solution I found for this was to remove Dynamic Featured Image Plugin and use Meteor Slides instead which now does what I need.

I have the same problem, so looking for an answer too. My menu (when it changes to burger menu) loses all the sub navigation and only shows the top level pages. I know this used to work, so something has changed it within my build process but who knows what!?

The menu works fine when in large screen mode.

Anyone any ideas?
