Thanks very much once again. I found a plugin page-link-manager which looks like I can use. I just create pages and choose them to not appear in the menu, and then I insert the url for those pages in my sidebar.php file. It works great.

Thanks very much for this tip. A question I have is whether or not I can create pages that ONLY appear in the sidebar menu, while the others will only appear in the header menu.

The plugin I installed is the DagonDesign site map generator.

It creates a robots.txt file automatically.

I don’t know what I want in the file, but I have read numerous times that you need one in order to make sure google doesn’t somehow mistakenly ignore your site.

So I think I just want a basic robots.txt file, without specic things that it stipulates.

It looks like the first article on the page always has larger text size for the title, as a default setting. So it’s supposed to be that way, and I’ll consider this issue resolved.

And I just noticed that the excerpt I created in the post panel is displaying at the bottom of the front page, at the end of the three articles. The excerpt doesn’t display a title.
