Thanks! Do you have a recommendation for a non Gutenberg editor?

The website, according to our patrons, is appearing blank while on Google Chrome. Apparently its working on Firefox and Internet explorer. It is working on my Google Chrome browser at home, so not sure why others are having an issue.

Others have reported seeing an error message that says: Original text contribute. A better translation” and seeing nothing else on the page. Its very strange since nothing on the backend seems to be causing the issue.

I installed the plugin and went back to the widgets under appearance, but it still won’t open any of the text files.

I’m wondering if its another kind of JQUERY issue they are having.

I have a PHP error on the website, but I am not sure it is related. I’m pretty tech savy but I am unfamiliar with PHP and cannot figure out how to update it.

When I go into the widgets tab, I go to right sidebar and click on edit a text sidebar but it doesn’t open up. They are live on the website I use, but I don’t know how to access it.

So when I did that it said the following: jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=3.3.2:2 JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.3.2

Thanks! Yes, I know that website isn’t WordPress but I was trying to find a plugin that would create a similar effect. Wasn’t sure if there was a slider plugin or something. I’ll reach out to that website you sent me. ??

Do you have any suggestions on how to get the search bar next to the website title? Is there an align code I need to use?

I believe that is accurate. Unfortunate, but the WordPress search bar has been known to be not as customizable.

For the basic searchbar though, do you have any customization articles I could read for suggestions?

So I have removed the Mega Menu plugin so I could customize the Search button at the top. Do you have any articles for customization suggestions? I’m hoping to find a searchbar that I can also search other websites, such as how this library allows the user to look at the catalog and the website: https://www.carnegielibrary.org/

Do you know of any plugin that will allow me to do that?

Turns out it does have its own search option in the mega menu plugin but when I researched out to edit it: https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/search-box/#:~:text=Search%20Box-,Search%20Box,box%2C%20a%20shortcode%20or%20HTML.&text=Next%2C%20click%20the%20Replacements%20tab,with%20a%20working%20Search%20Box.

It’s not located in the menu at all, but in the header options under Customizing- Widgets- Header. Seems to be a search bar that WordPress has downloaded.

Is there a way to edit this search bar, or do I need to download another option to make it customized in the header?

Hey Anders. Yes I know it’s a pretty big change, it’s what made me put it off for a long time since I don’t want to destroy the website haha.

If I cannot get it to change it’s style, is there a way to replace the word “search form” to “search website” ? That would help.
