    Hello Igor,

I just tried installed and activated theme “Twenty Seventeen”.

There wasn’t any error message. However, I’m not sure if the test is proper as in my old theme I manually put the short-code of Ad Inserter into specific place.

But in the testing using the new theme, I didn’t do any manual insertion of the short-code as I’m not familiar with the theme’s codes though. So, even though both plugins – SumoMe and Ad Inserter – were running, there wasn’t any ads being served.

So does this mean the problem is my theme? Or could the issue didn’t get triggered because no ads was being served?

    Kindly advice.

    Hello Igor,

What I have is the following setup:

    1) Ad Inserter Plugin activated
    – Have configured about 10 ads, but only some are being used.
    – Ads are working fine

    2) SumoMe PLugin
    – Enable Share, Image Sharer, Highlighter, Heat Maps

-> When SumoMe plugin is activated, error message as described appears on website.
-> When SumoMe plugin is de-activated, error disappear.
    -> Clear cache
-> De-activate Ad Inserter, activate SumoMe, no more error message on website
-> With SumoMe plugin remains activated, try to activate Ad Inserter, error message appears on website

    -> Clear cache
-> De-activate SumoMe, activate Ad Inserter – no error message
-> With Ad Inserter remains activated, try to activate SumoMe, error message appears on website

-> Conclusion, both Ad Inserter and SumoMe cannot activated at the same time. Otherwise the error message will appear, “regardless” which plugin activated first.

    Thanx esmi,

Tried that plugin but it doesn’t work ..

Tried to replace the common slug of “%e2%80%93-” with “-” but the search returns zero as below …

Also, by manually removing such slugs you’ve to make sure you don’t change the setting of your current permalink setting again …

For example if currently I’m using:

    Month and name https://www.financetwitter.com/2010/08/sample-post/

and later I decide to change to:

    Numeric https://www.financetwitter.com/archives/123

the slugs will re-appear again so all your hard works (you’re lucky if you’ve only less than 50 posts to change) in removing the slugs will go to drains …

Just my thought … still need a fast (maybe a plugin?) method to do this …

    Cheers …

    Thanx New Nine Media,

Yes, I can manually delete the so-called slug but I’ve thousands of posts imported from blogger so it would not be a good idea to manually search for such slugs …

Any other great ideas how to eliminate these slugs? Otherwise I’ve no choice but to spend days/weeks manually fixing this issue …

    Cheers …

    Hello All,

Anybody can help me on my problem? Need your kind feedback urgently …

Support from my hosting put the blame squarely on the wordpress itself so I’m kinda clueless how to proceed …

    Thanx …
    FT
