They are not in the WP repository, either.

In reply to: [Child Theme Creator by Orbisius] Problem with 1.4.0One way to get back – download the zip and unzip it into the plugins directory, either in shell or cPanel (or similar) file directory. Or take @lordspace up on his generous offer.

In reply to: [Child Theme Creator by Orbisius] Problem with 1.4.0@gravelbikecom – that’s strange. My admin and updates section are working fine on WP Multisite and Single Site, shows this plugin deactivated (since the directory is now missing).

In reply to: [Child Theme Creator by Orbisius] Problem with 1.4.0@gravelbikecom and @jjanthony: You are right – gets your website back on the air. In order to use admin, you have to dig a bit in the database using phpMyAdmin or a similar tool. See here or here. Be aware if you have a lot of plugins, it is not easy. You can also use the phpMyAdmin method described here to deactivate all plugins.
Also, the author’s repository has the missing subdirectory in it and I, too, sent him a quick message. Hopefully, a new zip will be available soon.

In reply to: [Child Theme Creator by Orbisius] Problem with 1.4.0@gravelbikecom and @jjanthony: deleting the directory and its contents does work.
rm -r -f /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/orbisius-child-theme-creator
You have to get rid of the directory itself, as well as its contents.

@ramiuz –
Is there somewhere that I can look at the actual page where this happens? As @smashballoon says, is it probably getting the style from somewhere else.
Drop a link and I’d be happy to look.

In reply to: Having Both NOBLOGREDIRECT and 404 HandlingCould I say “nevermind”? Instead, if you have this very same problem, go here https://frumph.net/2010/06/05/wordpress-3-0-multisite-subdomain-installation-noblogredirect-behavior-fix/ and follow the instructions.
In a nutshell, create a custom function that differentiates between 404’s and bad domains.

An added variation – I removed and re-installed WP 3.4.1, this time as a single user web site. Still would not validate. Then, I removed and re-installed to a sub-directory off the server root. With either single- or multi-user options, still does not validate Jetpack…
do you already have a wordpress.com account?
Yep – use Jetpack on all of my self-hosted WP sites, too. This is the only one that is broken.
Yes, worked fine – I did one WP site manually. Great plugin, Joe!
If it isn’t too much trouble, could you please issue an increment version? Some of us have it installed on more than just one site (several dozen) and it would make it a tad easier on us… I just updated all of my WP instances… laughs for once I was being prompt.
TIA!
