In reply to: Image links not being savedNow that Firefox has upgraded to 6, now Chrome and Firefox are experiencing this problem when A) a link is at the end of the sentence and character remains after it .. the link is created, however you cannot do a hard link break to the next paragraph. The only way to get a new line is to manually put <p> tags in the html editor. You cannot make a new paragraph if the last thing in the previous paragraph ends in a link … since the latest release of Chrome/Firefox/WordPress I have been experiencing this problem intermittently on several sites. I have confirmed the issue is NOT a plugin or my theme.
Another issue is B) the images will not retain their links after saving the page (unless you manually do it in the html editor) … Anyone have suggestions or workaround to fix it so the wysiwyg editor doesn’t mess up anymore?

In reply to: Image links not being savedI have the same issue in Chrome as well. Even turned off all my Chrome extensions to see if that is what it was. I’m thinking Chrome auto updated and something is messed up from new Chrome release, not from new WordPress release as I have several sites affected.
I should clarify .. using IE or Firefox or Safari .. no issues. Only in Chrome (Chrome 10.0.648.204) .. when editing a page, trying to place an image in the editor works fine, but if you try to LINK that image up to a page or the image itself .. it won’t save the link. Very strange behavior. It will let you go through the motions, but the link won’t stay.
WordPress 3.1.1 and all plugins deactivated .. still doesn’t work right in Chrome.
If anyone finds the cure please post it here!

In reply to: Image on Front Pagesounds to me like you are maybe not in the editor correctly.
Go to edit your page, put cursor in the text area where content goes, click the little square button to upload new media, browse and upload it, once you see its little preview in the flash uploader, set your parameters then click insert into post. the uploader window will close and you should see your image in your text editor, put text as you desire, then click publish.

In reply to: [Plugin: Member Access] Posts Page SettingsNo, I am not using the unofficial patch, but I am using WordPress version 2.8 . I’ve never had this issue until I started using 2.8 were you working in 2.8 by chance?
Seriously I have a tiny bit o money to add to someone’s paypal account if I give you login credentials and fix this up so it works properly..
Let me uninstall and try the unofficial patch, see if that fixes the issue, then I’ll re-post and let you know the outcome.
You interested in fixing this for a little money?

In reply to: [Plugin: Member Access] Posts Page SettingsI have a question for you guys here then…
User Access manager in 2.8 is showing me logged out in my link for login/logout on my home page even when logged in while using the Access manager.
I’ve even tried switching the home page to a different page to see if it was my template and while using the plugin, no matter what page I assign as the home page, the login logout link shows me logged out on that page only…all the other pages shows logged in.
Anyone have an answer for that?? Any help would be appreciated!

In reply to: 1000 plus images not indexed on Googleyes, every image nees the alt and title tag, especially the alt tag. yours are all empty, therefore you will not rank in google…plus remember how long it may take to get them indexed once you redo them all. I have more hits to my site from images since I have honed them with alt and title tags and named my .jpg file something like “keyword_is_here.jpg”
