    RK,

No accounts are being created. Just orders being made.
We already have anti-spam plugins on the site too.

    Adam,

I think you might be in the wrong thread. This is for back end custom text attributes, which were recently replaced with drop down forms.

However, either of these should solve your problem:

    https://woocommerce.com/products/gravity-forms-add-ons/

Unless I am misunderstanding you still. Hope this helps you.

    Bokkngo,

Hey buddy. We ended up having to migrate all of the data into the standard WordPress post meta for our use. It was a pain, but at least this way we won’t have to worry about unexpected changes like these.

They do offer the ability for you to set a custom attribute for each product.
Do you have a ton of products where it would be a hassle to do that manually?

    BigBugsy,

You’re amazing. I don’t know how I managed to miss that.
Time to get a fix applied ??

    Thanks,

This has been a giant headache for us too. We have over 20,000 products that have already made use of the custom attributes. We are now being forced to downgrade because porting them into “custom attributes” would be a large pain in the ass. We really need the text attribute back.

    Shane,

Yep, issue still persists. I’ve been trying to work it out this whole time lol.

    Thanks,

I have downgraded to 1.4.4 again as a temporary solution. We are planning on upgrading to 3.0 this week. I’ll keep you updated, but I figured you would want to know about the issue. Could just be on our install ??

Correct, once they press the “checkout with paypal” button. They get the standard woocommerce error notice style and it says “internal server error”.

    Angelleye,

I found it strange as well since we are not using any express settings. While we do have the setting filled in we do not have it enabled. Could that be an issue?

Yes, we cleared the cache and this issue was reported by multiple customers so browser cache isn’t in play.

I have uploaded a screenshot here for you. I have highlighted the developer tools CSS where your file is being called.

    Caleb,

It has not always been that way.
You could manually reduce stock from within the order using either 2 methods I posted about above.

I did not realize we could select a product and perform actions against it though. I’ll try and automate it with jQuery or something then.

    Thanks for the heads up.

    Mike,

So then what could be causing it here when we are adding a new product?
No terms have been assigned to it.

Should I get you a screenshot of the Query Monitor report on that page?

    Thanks!

    Mike,

Is there any way to stop the terms from loading on page load, but rather only once an attribute has actually been added to the product?

…or if the attribute is text input and not select to not load any auto suggestions?

When we add products we do not re-use any of the same terms. Which is why we have so many.

    Thanks!

    Mike,

I disabled all of them 1 by 1, and started with any that load on the add a product screen.

We only have 4 different attributes, but 16,000 products so the amount of terms for each attribute is very high.

    Thanks

    Mike,

Yes, the blank pages seem to have been a memory issue. The load time is the only part of the issue left now.

I was thinking because of the high number of attributes we have it could be that but editing a product or opening the attributes page does not even take that long. Maybe 1 – 2 seconds.

    Thank you!
