In reply to: [Gutenberg] I use wordpress not WIXI would like to know what Gutenberg brings to the table that I can already do with a page builder or custom code? Nothing that I’ve seen.
Gutenberg isn’t being driven by a small number of potential users, it’s being driven by the perception that the masses (the 75% of the market not using WordPress) want a Wix/Squarespace experience.
How about letting the whole of the WordPress community decide where this is heading, not Matt, Automatic and a small team of devs.

In reply to: number_format() error when trying to add new pluginsSame issue here with the add new plugins page after updating to wp 3.7.1. Can we get some answers here WP forum admins?
Thanks Sean!
Sean, I’ve uploaded version 1.0 and am still getting a shift on the icons. I think it is because the plugin is assigning a span to that image and the .xc_pinterest class is set to display:block. I know this is by design but I can’t seem to figure out a way to display:inline for just those icon images (they are all in a class .wp-image-7139). I tried:
.wp-image-7139 {display: inline !important} to no effect.
Any thoughts. Here is an example page with the bullet icons midway down the page:
Thanks!
Any update on the new version that will fix this?

In reply to: [Background Manager] [Plugin: Background Manager] Long Image Load TimeThanks for the prompt reply. I’ve had to delete the plugin, but will try it one more time. Great work on the plugin.
I’m having a similar problem with the same stay/leave issue when I try to save menus. Will open a new thread, but wanted to chime in that this is a larger issue than one theme, one plugin.

In reply to: WordPress menu limit problem on Media Temple (GS)I saw that link, thanks. Nothing I’ve tried has worked. Interestingly, it’s also doing the same thing when trying to add the page in a sidebar Flexi Pages plugin.

In reply to: WordPress menu limit problem on Media Temple (GS)I’m having the same issue with a client site on the GS. I’ve tried all the recommended changes and still no solution. This is a WP issue in my opinion. They have stated in trac tickets it will be addressed in 3.3.
Sorry guys, I don’t remember how I solved this problem (if I even did). I may have just left it as is or worked with the css to correct. Not sure if he ever checks this forum, but he is very responsive if you contact him on Twitter @ylefebvre. Best on the issue
