Hi jpnl,
I just tested it to make sure and that’s definitely not happening. Are you, by any chance, clicking the “Add Price” link instead of the “Update Price” button?
Hi bente,
There is no built-in way to track how often the booking form has been submitted.
I’m not sure what is going on, or what you mean, with the submit button not showing on your booking form page. Would you be able to provide a link to that booking page, so we can see what you mean?
Thank you
Hello @jpnl,
Please have a look at this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/updating-failed-when-adding-the-shortcode-to-the-page/
Thank you for letting us know!
Hi @ttrusty,
Deactivating and reactivating the plugin will not reset your work, because it stored in the database. Just click on “Skip setup” after reactivating the plugin, and you’ll see your items.
Though I do recommend to always make a full backup of your site, as a precaution, when you’re about to make big changes.

Hello @ttrusty,
As a test, could you disable all other plugins but ours and see if it makes a difference? From there, you can enable your plugins one by one until the issue reoccurs.
Hello ferranet,
It sounds like someone is using a vpn and making fake reservations. Perhaps try contacting your host and see if they can find any information.
Also, as a test, could you make some dummy reservations and see if it ever happens when you do it? Or does it only happen when someone else does it?
Hello @annasue,
The menu items are just a custom post type, so, if Restaurant Press also uses a custom post type, then, theoretically, you might be able to get at least some info transferred over by either exporting that custom post type from the database and importing it into the new custom post type, or by just changing post_type associated with the old restaurant posts to the slug of our post type, which is “fdm-menu-item” (this would obviously have to be done in the database [i.e. via phpMyAdmin]).
That would be the only way to easily transition to our plugin from Restaurant Press.
We answered your email about the same issue. Pasting it here in case others have the same question.
I can tell you that the plugin hasn’t been specifically tested with WPML, unfortunately. As we move forward with this and the other plugins, we hope to do more testing of this sort.
That being said, if you aren’t already, I’d suggest you make use of the multiple locations feature in the plugin. That creates a custom post type called Locations, which lets you add multiple locations (or just one, if that’s all you need) as posts in WordPress. What this means is those entries will, by default, be compatible with WPML. You would just need to go into your WPML settings and enable the custom post type. After that, whenever you create a new location, you should see the WPML option to translate that post/location. Then you can use the contact-card shortcode with the specific location attribute (https://doc.fivestarplugins.com/plugins/business-profile/user/faq#shortcode) to display the address on your site. My assumption would be that, if you put the shortcode on a page that is on the Dutch side of your site, then it would use the Dutch translation of the location post you created, and vice versa. Of course, we haven’t tested this to know if it will indeed be the case, but it’s definitely worth a try.
Hello @itmjlee,
The good thing is that your changes get saved and you can make progress on your site.
The dev team has been notified about this issue and are looking into it.
We will update you if we have any further news.Hello @itmjlee,
Although it says publishing failed, does the form/block appear on the frontend?
Hello @077b,
There is an option in the premium settings to enable a max amount of reservations.
Enable Max Reservations
Only allow a certain number of reservations (set below) during a specific time. Once the maximum number of reservations has been reached, visitors will only be able to select other reservation times.

In reply to: [Five Star Restaurant Menu and Food Ordering] Different approach to imagesHi Corbett,
Our built-in lightbox effect doesn’t limit the size of the image. It uses the full-size image. Judging by the source code of your page, it looks like you are using some other lightbox plugin/code. I’m not sure if it’s your theme or another plugin, but, based on the “mfp” classes, it seems to be making use of the Magnific Popup jQuery lightbox. Perhaps that is what is scaling it down to 600px.
