As for the “Related Posts via Categories” plugin, I will have to find another plugin in order to put the Page navigation directly under the content.

I have successfully moved the “Next” page button to the bottom of the post, but I would like it to be above the “Other Stories You’d Like” (Related Categories Via Posts) plugin and to the right, if possible.

In reply to: Menu Used to Show Posts in Categories; Now 404?This should be known: WordPress SEO does this to websites, but you can keep it. Go to the settings of WordPress SEO on the dashboard.
Go to “permalinks” and UNCHECK the “don’t include /category/ base in links.”
This will let you show your categories again! Wish I would have seen this before I deleted it!

In reply to: Menu Used to Show Posts in Categories; Now 404?I had to default permalinks and then deactivate each plugin seperately.
Then, I had to go back and go between default and custom permalinks. After checking for the menu to work, I had to activate the plugins and widgets one by one to see what was giving me problems.
The problem plugins were: WordPress SEO

In reply to: Menu Used to Show Posts in Categories; Now 404?This is not a bump. I am updating on other methods I have tried.
I tried reverting to another theme and going back to default. This did nothing and leads to HostGator 404 page.
I then went into my files via FTP and did the process of disabling plugins, defaulting permalinks, and deleting .htaccess. This did nothing at all and it’s back to where it was.
-Custom Link menu items work
-Contact page works.
-When you click a category it still does not show.
