Sure. And I’m also aware that it could be other plugins or something. Thanks!

Thanks for asking. I didn’t edit the .htaccess any time recently, and I have had your plugin on all my sites with no problems at all before now. I think I’ll just try another plugin. Thanks for the plug-in and your hard work!

In reply to: [Post Types Order] Fatal Error After UpgradeHi Folks,
This was somewhat alarming for me. 4 of my sites went down with error messages that were pretty technical, as well as causing all sorts of error messages from other plugins. I was able to get around all that by renaming the plugin folder and getting your prompt update(s). This is a standard method for WP geeks like me, but non-technical folks will likely freak out.
I hope that this will be a good cautionary tale for you. ??
Cheers, Dave
nK, Very good catch! I disabled that, and all is well. I appreciate it.

In reply to: [Visual Portfolio, Photo Gallery & Post Grid] All images are grey (again)Hi,
Same problem here. In my case, going back to 2.10.0 fixed it, so I’m guessing that this means that version 2.10.1 caused the problem.Last time I had a problem, there was a meaningful Javascript error. This time, no errors in the console.
Thanks for checking into this,
DaveHi,
I also got this error to go away by disabling SG Optimizer plugin version 5.6.5, making my functions.php change, and then re-enabling the Optimizer.btw, I had also tried “Purge the SG Cache” in admin before disabling the Optimizer, and no dice.
So I tend to agree with “yesyeah” above, that there is something amiss relating to the SG Optimizer.
Cheers, Dave

In reply to: [Visual Portfolio, Photo Gallery & Post Grid] Stopped working after WP updateHi,
That looks like it worked! Thanks, Dave
Hi Papin,
On another subject, I am seeing this in the Update Log on a couple sites:Warning: strtotime() expects parameter 2 to be int, string given in
/wp-content/plugins/companion-auto-update/cau_functions.php on line 781
Hi Papin,
My update notice just said that my child theme was automatically updated(!), but I confirmed that actually Genesis, the parent theme, did just have an update.Certainly not a big problem, but it might be confusing or slightly disturbing to some users.

In reply to: [GenerateBlocks] Excellent! And some test “container” findingsTom, thanks, sure, I’d enjoy some filtering, even though I don’t smoke!
You rule… Your theme is my solid favorite, and I’ve used (and tested) zillions!
Thanks! Dave

In reply to: [Companion Auto Update] question about commercial theme updatingHi!
Great answer, thanks. Yeah, I forgot that Genesis has its own update setting. Also, good thought about timeouts, especially on Godummy, which is very stingy with resources!
One more little thing that may be helpful… under Possible Plugin Issues and “You’re using one or more plugins that might cause issues.”, the link to “How to Fix” gets a 404.
Thanks again!
DaveI just wanted to report that EDD tech support was great and really helped me out!
Thanks to all!
Kyle,
I thought that might be the case. Now that CF7 has gone all Recaptcha 3 (yuck!!!) and there are now so many possible additives to CF7, I suppose just about anything could happen. ??I appreciate your response and for giving it some thought!
Cheers, Dave
