In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] DataTables warningHi Tobias,
I worked out soon after you posted, it was invalid HTML. I found this on another thread after a while, and all is good again ?? Thanks for following up so quickly, I’m glad I chose this plugin!
I wonder if it’s possible to provide a warning when saving the table in the edit view, to let the user know that their html is invalid?
Cheers

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] DataTables warningSo …. what do you do if you get this error and actually want to use the awesome DataTables JS library? ??
No offense to the author, but it’s been over a month now with no updated. Kind of a critical error, really.
Thanks, haven’t tried it just yet but will try it soon when I can find some time ?? You haven’t tested it yourself?
In WP3.2+ there is the option of uploading media files, attaching them to a post, and instead of inserting each media file individually, you can ‘insert gallery’ which displays a thumbnail of every image attached to the post.
Chris, that would be awesome if you did update it, I don’t think there is any other plugin available that would do this.
I hadn’t ran the script, I was careful to check what it was going to do before executing ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [GWPG3] [Plugin: GWPG3] IT causes an internal server error 500 problem!Okay so it was my .htaccess file that got screwed. Restoring a backup of this file did the trick. Not wanting to touch this plugin again until I hear what coudl have gone wrong and how to avoid it again! Really appreciate the work to get WPG3 going though. Would love to test it when you have perhaps a beta plugin available.

In reply to: [bbPress] bbpress and twenty eleven compatibilityHi Otto,
Mostly I’ve been checking the home page, although occasionally I checked the single-post view and haven’t seen anything appear there.
1 hour ago I deleted all test comments and re-posted another test comment, and it is not displaying in the single-post view.
So to clarify, could I ‘lock down’ the commenting restrictions under the WordPress Settings-Discussion page, and it won’t affect the displaying of FB comments at all?
I should also have mentioned, that I’m using the TwentyEleven theme with a bbPress child theme, and I’ve checked that I do have that comments form.
Cheers,
TomIt’s also occurring for me, using a user (not a group) library. It was working fine when I was using the TwentyTen child theme of bbPress, but then I changed to using a TwentyEleven child theme for bbpress, and then it started to give me this error.
If I delete
[zotpress limit="99" sortby="date"]
and replace with just[zotpress]
then it works fine again though. On another matter, should the inclusion of
datatype="report"
lead to only displaying reports? Because this doesn’t seem to be working either. ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [bbPress] bbpress and twenty eleven compatibilitybbpress only works with the TwentyTen child theme that compes with the wordpress bbpress plugin. So unless you modify the theme yourself, I don’t understand why it would have worked offline as oppose to online – it just shouldn’t have worked at all! Bbpress using the default theming of bbpress if a child theme isn’t activated.
There is a TwentyEleven theme for bbpress available on someone elses blog but I’m currently having problems with it myself, so I recommend sticking with the TwentyTen for now. Note that there is a plan to theme TwentyEleven in the next release of bbpress: https://bbpress.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/1518

In reply to: SMTP problems with G-Lock pluginThanks, this is very helpful. I have marked this support request as resolved even though I still won’t be able to get it to work but at least I have closure on the topic, knowing why it isn’t working. I will report back again when it really is resolved.

In reply to: No emails from SMTPI’m also using WP2.7.1, and have great success with this plugin, Swift SMTP. Does this resolve your problem?

In reply to: Post link gives error pageThat’s definitely wrong, as I recently transferred my blog from a Windows box to a linux box. As for Mac I’m not sure, but throw out the credibility of wherever told you it has to be linux/unix!
Did you try flushing your browser cache after making the permalink change? It might not be updating correctly. I normally just use Firefox but when I suspect I have a browser cache issue I load Internet Explorer which I’ve set to automatically flush it’s cache every time it loads, just for my debugging ease of use.
