You should start a new support request for your concern. In your post, please try and further elaborate on the following:
When you say you click save, do you mean you click Publish? Or do you actually just click on Save. Save will not Publish the article, so it will not appear on your site until it’s published. Or do you mean that regardless of whether you click to publish or save, it’s not even saving the changes to your post?

That is not the ONLY source of the problem, so it’s not necessarily going to help Gene Belmont. I had the same problem and it did not work for me.

I recommend working your way through the tips in this Stick post. Let us know how you go with those options, but don’t bother asking for further help until you’ve exhausted ALL of those tips to fix your error ?? (In the nicest possible way). Let us know how you go! ??

Try re-uploading all of the WordPress files again – maybe something got corrupted when you last updated, or maybe you didn’t overwrite correctly? Give it a shot, worth a try?

Yeah that’s all you need to do – however if you’re using wordpress 2.5 you won’t need a plugin to disable the WYSIWYG editor, you can just click “html view”.

What do you mean, an unknown letter? Did you open it in a PHP text editor?

Did you read the documentation?

Double-checked your spam box? Otherwise I don’t know what else it could be, sorry.

Notifications as in email? Do you still have your email settings configured in the Admin Settings? (I’m thinking maybe they were lost when you upgraded).

If they are all still there, perhaps you could try a work-around solution with a mail plugin?

WordPress 2.6 will hopefully contain this functionality, due for release between 7th July and 14th July. If you are daring you could download the beta ??

Does using the default theme fix it? Does disabling all of your plugins fix it?

When you create a page, the page is stored in your database just like posts. You can execute script in posts and pages using various plugins.
If you are using the latest version of WordPress (2.5.1) then you may like to use Exec-PHP.
