Interesting. I’ve got a similar problem. I can post comments on a page, but I can’t post comments on a post.

Yes, when editing the post I made sure allow comments was marked.

Is this what is happening to you?

When you edited the xml did your editor give it a new extension, somefile.xml.txt? If YES then rename it so the file extension is simply .xml

Remove that tag completely. That will solve the prob. on that page.

Hackers make good use of forums to gain access to your site. I’d check which forum you use and be sure you have the latest version of files.

Have your host block awardspace.com with IP tables or firewall.

Upgrade WP to the latest version.

I have found theme creation a complicated and rewarding process. Generally I work with a text editor, not a web authoring program such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver, or whatever. I will on occasion use FrontPage for some tasks that I am too lazy or dumb to perform otherwise.

My method is to start with an existing theme that generally has the layout I intend. I then edit the css and template pages, bending them to my will.

I never thought I would get the hang of css but over time I’ve managed to commit to memory quite a library of code.

Finally, use a good FTP program such as CuteFTP to move your files between your local computer and the server. This will give you the ability to chmod files, rename/create/delete files and folders. IMHO Dreamweaver will stunt your design and development growth.

It appears this plugin does not work with 2.0.2. I’ve installed it on two domain with no joy. The ‘tab’ for File Manger doesn’t show up in the menus.

Still can’t easily change a photo from one cat to another but at least it doesn’t move them to a different cat when you hit Update.

Neither one worked as advertised for me. The latter stopped the image being assigned the wrong category when editing via the Category View. Mass Edit improved where most photos reflected the proper category but many do not follow suit. Weird.

Edited photopress.php per above and now Mass Edit works with the aforementioned limitation but with a large gallery it would be quite impractical to reassign botched categories through that path.

Ha! You and I want to delete unwanted categories. Have you tried to move a photo between categories without using Mass Edit?

I went to your site, clicked the available thumbnail and it all works well so I’m assuming this item is closed.

You do however have some errors on the bottom of the page:
(failed to open stream: No such file or directory)

Looks like all you need to do is put comments.php where it belongs (or where WP thinks it belongs).
