  • Hey @morespinach,

The quickest way back into the site is to manually disable Wordfence be renaming its plugin directory to something like wordfence.bak via sFTP or your hosting control panel. Once you’re back into the site you can rename it back to reenable it.

Once you’re back in the site can you please try disabling all other plugins and switch to a WordPress default theme to check for a conflict?

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

There’s nothing in our simple HTML theme to “conflict” with 2FA functionality. Will be disabling Wordfence for good. Please figure out how to implement this functionality without blocking us admins out of the site. Silly coding.

    Hey @morespinach,

I completely understand your frustration. However, many people are using this without an issue. The first step in troubleshooting this is to rule out a conflict with either the theme you’re using or plugins. If this doesn’t end up being the case we can look deeper. Please do let me know if you’d like to troubleshoot the issue.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hey @morespinach,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.

Please feel free to open another thread if you’re still having issues with Wordfence.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
