I tried validating and the firebug plugin and couldn’t find it, but thanks for your help still, WPyogi, those are good tools to know.
For anyone who might find this in the future, I was able to fix it by finding an amazing feature from my host I never knew about: They keep a backup of all files for my site, I can restore quickly, and easily myself within my control panel.
I can choose to restore any file from any of my sites from:
I knew the exact file I was messing with and that my last good copy was from 51 hours ago, so all I had to do was click the file, click restore and boom, it was fixed!
I wish I knew about this before spending the last 12 hours pulling my hair out trying to fix it, lol. But I’m glad I found this feature and that my host offers it, this will probably be very handy in the future.
I’m not sure if this will be true for your host, but they may have something similar.
Cheers,
Floyd3Doremdou, I just followed Tobias’ instructions above, and it worked!
I meant to respond to this post sooner, but I still haven’t even finished getting the albums part to work yet. I’m sure it will be the same and just as easy to fix, I just haven’t had the time to even try it yet.
Thanks again Tobias! ??
Ohh, because each post needs unique tags based on it’s name. If I do what you’re saying, won’t all posts have the exact same tags, or the only other way is to manually give each post it’s tag one at a time based on it’s title/permalink?
Sorry if I’m slow, I guess I don’t get it.

In reply to: Display Related Posts by Title without Plugin?I haven’t found any plugins that do this yet. Do I have to go in and manually give each existing post tags one by one? Or is there some trick maybe? Could also use the post slug maybe.
OK, I just want to get tags for already existing posts. It will take me forever to go in and manually give each post new tags one by one. I’m still stuck. Thanks for your help, if you have any ideas please let me know. ??
Ohh OK. Do you know of a way to generate tags?

In reply to: Display Related Posts by Title without Plugin? Thanks WPyogi, is there a way to maybe automatically assign tags to each post based on the file name?
It would take a long time to give each individual post a tag, but I like where your going with this and your idea. ??

In reply to: Display Related Posts by Title without Plugin?I’m not sure what to do. Is there any other forums where I can ask this question since no one seems to know here?

In reply to: Display Related Posts by Title without Plugin? Is this even possible? Seems like a little different code of telling it to search by “title” or permalink rather than tags would work?

In reply to: Display Related Posts by Title without Plugin?I just tried the “Contextual Related Posts” plugin, and like I thought, it didn’t work as I’d hoped and return the correct related posts, even though it says it shows related posts by title.
I found a site that has code that appears to take it by tag, without a plugin, maybe this can be somehow edited to search by title rather than tag? https://andorkh.com/wordpress-related-posts-without-plugin/

In reply to: Display comment count next to posts?Anyone have any ideas? I still cant figure this out.
I probably over-explained the problem, lol…
I just need to know the code to display the number of comments in a particular post.

In reply to: Display comment count next to posts? Is it possibly a different function all together?

In reply to: Display comment count next to posts? Not sure if this matters but the guitar tabs are wordpress posts, and the guitar tab listing page is a page.
I know “php_get_the_category” makes a link to the category, but how can I get that custom image to link to the category?
