Hi
Thank you for your valuable feedback and for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for the delayed response; it’s been a particularly busy season.
To help resolve the issue you’re experiencing, could you please provide a screenshot of your rule configuration? This will allow us to better understand the setup. Also, do you have any other discount or dynamic pricing plugins activated?
Also, Can you try adjusting the “Show strike out price” setting to “Product pages only” in your WordPress dashboard under Discount Rules -> Settings. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/qz3t4itcvj46funpwc1k9/screenshot-localhost_8000-2024_11_18-13_45_12.png?rlkey=04hnacfgr6k9rc3b0wba9wjud&dl=0
When the Shop and Category options are enabled, our plugin checks for available discounts on each product listed on those pages. Since our plugin uses conditional, rule-based discounts, it performs calculations on the fly. Because, the rules need to be checked every time. So the calculation time may vary depending on your server’s capacity. Example: 10% discount for spending $100 and 15% for spending $200. A complex example: 10% discount on all products. But if product A and B in the cart, give 15%. In scenarios such as this, even caching will not work. So all the computation takes place on the fly.
However, by setting the Strikeout Price option to “Product pages only,” you can mitigate this scenario. This adjustment displays the discounted price on individual product pages, improving overall site performance.
That being said, we have escalated this to our development team to explore possibilities for further improvement.
Please let us know if this solution works for you or if you need further assistance. We’re here to help ensure you have the best experience with our plugin.
Warm regards,
Team FlycartHey
First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re truly glad to hear that you found the Discount Rules plugin to be good, and we deeply appreciate your positive remarks about its functionalities.
We understand your disappointment regarding the difficulty in purchasing the PRO version and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
During the time of your purchase attempt, we were in the process of upgrading to a new billing system. This transition was a significant step towards enhancing our services and ensuring a more seamless and secure purchase experience for our customers in the long run. Unfortunately, the migration took longer than anticipated, leading to a temporary interruption in our services.
Please know that your satisfaction is our top priority, and we are committed to ensuring that our customers have a positive experience with all aspects of our products, including purchase and support services.
We have since completed the migration, and our systems are now operational. Thanks

Hi
Thank you for the feedback. Really appreciate it.
It looks like there is a slight misunderstanding.
The free plugin’s page in the WordPress directory has both the free and the pro features mentioned under separate headings. We checked the features listed under free to see if there were any such mentions of a category based store-wide global discount. But we could not find any.
The page at our website outlines the PRO features as its a page for purchasing the PRO plugin. And the documentation covers both the offerings.
That being said, we will continue to improve our content in all these places and add as much information as possible.
Please feel free to reach out to us if you need any assistance with the plugin. We are happy to assist.

Hi
Thank you for reaching out.
It looks like you have also created a ticket at our website and hope you have received our resolution via the helpdesk. It looks like a conflict with a third party plugin and the free shipping rule.
Updating the PRO version to the 2.5.1 will resolve the issue.
Feel free to reach out via our support section at https://www.flycart.org/support if you face any issues.
Happy to help ??Thanks
Team FlycartThank you @diegoversiani for checking in and answering the question. Really appreciate it.
@shirkit Would it be possible to open a support request at our website https://www.flycart.org/support mentioning the issues you are facing with CheckoutWC ? A couple of screenshots indicating the issue will help us a lot.
We are happy to check and let you know.
Thanks
Team FlycartHi

Team FlycartHi
Thank you for the feedback. Really appreciate it.
Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.Regarding the issue with the display message:
We had the scenario configured locally and checked the “discount message”, which was having an issue with VAT calculation. It appears to be showing the “spend more” message with the correct amount. Our team is running more tests and checking the code further.Regarding the issue with “both rules” applying:
For discount scenarios such as this “5 euro discount from orders 50 to 100 euro, and 10 euro from above 100 euro”, the recommended rule type is: “Cart Adjustment”. May we know the rule type you have selected ?This issue might happen, if the rule type was set to “Product Adjustment”. In this case, we calculate the totals based on the products in the cart. Since the discount gets adjusted in the product (like the special price in WooCommerce), the totals may differ and the plugin will try to re-check if there are any other matching rules.
However, if you change the rule type to “Cart adjustment”, then this would not occur as the plugin will take the subtotal for calculation and do the adjustment just like a virtual coupon.Would it be possible to open a support ticket at our website and provide us with the screenshots of your configuration? It would be great if you could give our plugin another try. We’re very glad to assist you with the issues.
Thanks
Team FlycartHi
Thank you for the feedback. Really appreciate it.
We’re so sorry to hear that the free version does not meet your requirements. The free version of the Discount Rules plugin has a significant number of features that help achieve a number of scenarios.
Here is the list of key features in the free version: (We have also given this under a separate heading in the plugin description)
– Simple Percentage based discounts in WooCommerce
– Store-wide global discount
– Bulk / volume / tiered discounts. Quantity range based tiered pricing percentage discount (Example: Buy 3 to 7 quantities, get 10%, Buy 8 to 12 quantities, get 20%)
– Cart based percentage discount (Example: Spend more than $1000, get 10% discount)
– Order subtotal based discount
– Number of line items (count) based discount
– Date based discount (validity)May we know the discount scenario you are trying to achieve ? If you can let us know the scenario or an example, we can help you out.
Looking forward to assist you if you would like to give our plugin a try again.
Thanks
Team FlycartHi
Thank you for the review. My apologies for any inconvenience.
Your are using the PRO version and its license has expired one year ago.
Even then, when you created a ticket today, we responded within 3 hours of your question (though our response time is 1 business day) and offered to help you.
And the question was not a bug. It was an inquiry about the compatibility with another currency switcher plugin. And you have yourselves said the plugin is running smoothly in your website and inquiring about the compatibility.
We really thank you for it as it has given us an opportunity to explain the real scenario. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide support for expired licenses.
Please feel free to reach out to us if you have further questions. We’re glad to assist you.
Thanks

Hi
Thank you for reaching out. I guess you are trying to display a sale badge with a percentage. Right?
Have you already created a discount rule in the plugin?
If yes, you can enable the sale badge. Here is a guide:
https://docs.flycart.org/en/articles/4179583-sale-tag-dynamic-sale-badge-2-0
But if you are not using our plugin to create the discount, then you may have to adopt a different approach based your theme.Hope this helps.
Thanks
