I was having the same issue and tried all I could find in the internet, but the solutions for my problem was very simples, I just forgot to associate the register and activate page on BP->Setting. Under the subsession ‘Associate WordPress Pages with the following BuddyPress Registration pages’.

That’s seems to be serius issue, what the solution you used to fix these ‘strange’ problem?

Maybe is the same thing that is happening to me, the same ID, my custom theme customize another slideshow… i am researching some solution, maybe another plugin
