I have the same problem with billing phone number. I see in the plug-in documentation that this option to require billing phone number has been added in version 1.4.0.
In my case, the option is unchecked and my customers get an error “Billing phone number is a required field” although a) they have a billing phone number filled in and b) the option is not checked.
We have a double faulty condition here.
