In reply to: [GeneratePress] sub-menus do not work in tabletTom,
So I did what you told me, and it solved the problem. We can now click on the sub-menu. On the other hand, there is another problem. Still on tablet with this sub-menu, when I click on the arrow to scroll down the sub-menu, the sub-menu unfolds and disappears almost immediately. There is no time to click on any part of the sub-menu. However, when you click on “Ma séance” instead of the arrow, the sub-menu works well. It seems that it is with the arrow that this problem arises ??

In reply to: [GeneratePress] sub-menus do not work in tabletI tried on the ipad, and it works very well ! So on my side, it’s on Android that it does not work (Acer and Samsung). In this case, it is almost impossible to use the submenu in “hover” mode.

In reply to: [GeneratePress] sub-menus do not work in tabletI also did some tests with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. And the problem is also the same.

In reply to: [GeneratePress] sub-menus do not work in tabletI am using Acer One 10.
I might be using the “click the parent item” in noindex mode, waiting to understand what’s going on with the “hover” mode, if it’s possible to know.
I wrote to Yoast support to see if it is possible to make a breadcrumb Home> Link> submenu without making a parent page. We never know ??

In reply to: [GeneratePress] sub-menus do not work in tabletTom,
The browsers for my tablet are Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. I use it to do tests. So I tried both browsers, but problem remains the same.
Regarding the referencement on Google, I did not understand very well. You tell me that I’m right not to create a virtual page at risk of finding it referenced despite the no-index? That’s right ?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [GeneratePress] sub-menus do not work in tabletI forgot to mention that for the “Click the parent item” mode, if I want the page to appear in the breadcrumb, I have to create a parent page and place it in the menu. The problem I have is referencing. I do not want this page to be referenced because it is virtual. I can report it to Googlebot but after that, I’m not sure that the robot will follow my recommendations (and the page being without content, it would not be good for the site). After, I can follow Leo’s recommendations on this link: But in which case, I lose the page on the breadcrumb …

In reply to: [GeneratePress] sub-menus do not work in tabletThank you Tom !
On my side, in tablet, if I click on the link ??ma séance”, the sub menu takes place. After, if I raise my finger to click on the submenu, the sub menu does not work. I have to slide my finger along the sub menu starting from ??ma séance?? for it to work. Is this normal? This may be part of the operation of the “hover” mode and I did not know it maybe ??
If so, I try to change mode: “Click the parent item”. But the problem is that the main link ??ma séance” is no longer a page and therefore it is not shown in the breadcrumb. Do you know if there is a way to display it in the breadcrumb? (The mode “Click the parent item’s arrow” displays the page but it does not meet my needs ergonomically).
Merci

In reply to: [GeneratePress] sub-menus do not work in tabletHello Leo !
Thanks for answering so quick !
Yes that solves the problem of my links on the tablet, but it creates another problem : I want the link of the parent page to be displayed in my breadcrumb, and with this technique, it is no longer there. Do you know how to do it ? I did the breadcrumb with Yoast Seo.
Thank you!

In reply to: [GeneratePress] sub-menus do not work in tabletHello again !
I may have found. When I go into the layout of the navigation drop-down menu, instead of setting in “flyby” mode, I set in “click menu item” mode and it works much better. Is there a particular way with the flyby mode?
Thank you !
Hello,
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to post the website before it is published. I have the impression that this is no problem anymore since I changed a block on Elementor. When I have published the site, I will be able to contact you again so that you can check more in detail. Thanks, have a good day !
