Nothing Ive tried hencefar has helped with the page width for this, any advice?

Just bumping this up, any suggestions as to why the site title would appear twice, Ive only entered the text once in the dashboard

Got that but Im referring to the site title appearing twice rather any details in the header below, Ive only entered it once in the dashboard. If I remove it from the dashboard it (understandably) leaves the site title blank completely, I can’t see any reason why its appearing twice

As far as I can see that makes no difference, Im assuming there’s more specific width code elsewhere in the theme

Permissions on all directories and files now appear to be correct but I am still having a similar problem, if I understand correctly I need to add the text include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php5.6 to line 89 of the config file (below)

/** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */ but this produces another error on screen as below

The problem wasn’t the menu parsee but the search form, removing references to the search widget etc rectified the issue.

Thanks up until yesterday the menu links stretched right across the menu bar but presumably because of a theme or wordpress update a searchbox appeared on the right hand side, I’ve removed this but no matter what I do I can’t display the menu correctly again, even if I try to change themes.

On another issue which template would I need to update to the change the background colour of the menu (from black to blue)?

No it isn’t, the search box only appeared earlier this afternoon

It’s not a border around the image as such but a blank space between the page border and the content, I assume there is some CSS Code I can alter to remove or reduce it

Ahh yes unfortunately their their helpdesk is somewhat less than helpful, I suspect I need to update some of the settings in one of the files but not sure which, the site was functioning until I attempted to set up the redirect last week

I can now see the menu structure at folkandroots.co.uk/wordpress but not the actual content and any of the pages or log in https://folkandroots.co.uk/wordpress/wp-admin/index.php seem to point to https://your.domain.name/the/path/wp-login.php which suggests I need to change a setting somewhere?

Unfortunately I now can’t access the control panel and I can’t see anyway of undoing the steps I took, as far as I can tell Ive followed the steps in the link above, copied the index.php and .htaccess to the root directory to no avail, but regardless of what I do trying to retrieve the dashboard or control panel brings up the following message, is there another amendment I need to make to the index.pho file to rectify this?
