My issue seems to be a conflict with MemberPress. The site crashes unless I deactivate either Memberpress or Event Calendar.

Exactly the same problem here.

I had exactly the same problem. It would take upwards of 30 seconds to load a page in admin, and slowed public pages enough to be noticeable. Deactivating and reactivating the plugin fixed the issue.

Thanks Laurel, that seems to work for me. I can live with it for the time being. Let’s hope he get’s it updated soon! I haven’t found another plugin with the same feature set.

I managed to clean them out manually through phpmyadmin. It seems to work now, and the counts are correct.

Using 1.2-alpha 5, the plugin appears to break category lists in the menu functions.

If I build a menu and add some categories, in my menu bar, I’ll get this:

whatever.com/category/foodwriting/travel/

Turn on your plugin (only plugin activated), and I get a 404 not found error on all category selections, though the url displayed is the same.

I know it’s alpha, just thought I’d let you know.

I just tried in IE 6, 7, and FF 3b4. No problems here. I am assuming your a highlighting a word in the write box, and then clicking on the link button.
Did you clear your cache after you upgrade WP?

try going to https://yoursite/wp-admin/themes.php directly. I’ve had the same problem and been able to get in that way, and then set a new theme.

I have the same problem. It’s a WP 2.0 thing. It’s a pain, but you have to disable the plugin, make your changes, and then remember to enable it again. Hope this gets fixed!

Kashou – I’m using GoDaddy without any problems. Make sure you have your account set up properly in the GoDaddy account manager. There are some email setting in the panel.

Add me to the list of users wanting this function. I don’t care if it is based on tags because I can convert catergories to tags with Ultimate Tag Warrior. It seems amazing to me that no none has been able to do this. I think it would be very popular.
