In reply to: [SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle] Issue with recaptchaHi Alex,
Yes!! It now works smoothly! Thank you very much for the fix.
I was able to use both my same key as the new key, so I choose to stuck with the same key as the rest of the site.
With a next release, this fix won’t go away right?

In reply to: [Advanced Google reCAPTCHA] Recaptcha issue on first attemptthanks for all the help.
Andrew will reach out regarding the recaptcha for the contact form in the widget bundle. There seems to be some conflict.

In reply to: [SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle] Issue with recaptchaHi Alex,
Happy new year !
it does not really matter what you put in, almost each message is considered spam. But only when the regular recaptcha plugin is active as well which makes me assume it is rather a plugin conflict.

In reply to: [Advanced Google reCAPTCHA] Recaptcha issue on first attemptThanks for that! Any way to register or log when recaptcha gives error ? So I can monitor this?

Oh sh*t… I forgot about that. What country are you located? I’ll whitelist it.

In reply to: [SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle] Issue with recaptchaHi there,
I am a base/free user as it is a personal hobby website and not a professional one.
How would I share with you test form submission? How would I extract this data?
Hi There,
Thank you! Happy to share you the total implementation if you would like to know. It took me 4-6 weeks to build and really, really happy with it, as I now have zero to none spam and attacks anymore. Happy to share the knowledge along. The downside is, I can not make use of caching.
You asked me how I implemented it. Well, I am using a plugin in which I define all functions and consecutive actions in combination with a code snippet to execute the plugin conditions on particular pages, such as the registration form.
The snippet part is where you can see I define whitelisted countries, such as [“NL”, “BE”, “DE”];) I also define the redirect page in the snippet. I use different redirect locations per page, as I redirect bots to a “faux” page without them knowing and filling in a bogus form ?? I use the data collected from the redirect pages to further strenghten my blacklist and security.
Anyways, I am very wary of performance and page load, so I mainly using the snippets to execute code ONLY on the necessary pages and leave the rest of the site as clean and lightweight as possible. I have already excluded those particular pages in my advanced wp-optimize settings, but it would even be better if I could still use cache for these pages. Because the page itself is not gonna change, it is just the way I handle bad bots that is interfering with the caching mechanism. I have read about fragment caching, but it seems WP-Optimize doesn’t support it.
I have tried your suggestion with define(‘DONOTCACHEPAGE’, true); but unfortunately it doesn’t work. I still get the cached page served even when testing the bad-bot scenario (Russian proxy server). I also tried excluding the plugin directory from caching, but that doesn’t work either.
Do you have any other suggestions? Would really be nice if I could use security and caching next to each other.

In reply to: [SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle] Issue with recaptchaHi Andrew,
The issue is not with emails, they arrive. Recaptcha is working fine on all other forms. The issue is with the siteorigins widgets bundle contact form, with recaptcha v3 enabled, is not working. using the same key will result in the form submit button not working and using a seperate key will result in it saying (95% of time) that the recaptcha is failed and i am considered spam.
I just confirmed and the recaptcha option in the form is interfering with the google advanced recaptcha plugin. When disabling the recaptcha plugin, the issue is gone. I’m surprised I am the first user encountering this. Is this something that can be fixed with a next release?

In reply to: [Advanced Google reCAPTCHA] Recaptcha issue on first attemptHi there,
Monitoring would be hard, as no error logs appear. Is there a way to enable logging?
Would you be so kind to do a check from your end? Just to put my mind at ease? You dont have to activate your account and can even use faux info, just wanting to make sure my site works.
