Hello there,
Thanks for reaching out! If I understand you correctly, you want each job creator to have their own chat function to be able to communicate with each tasker that is viewing the job post. For example, the tasker may ask some questions about the job before being able to bid on it, etc.
If my understanding is correct, this isn’t necessarily supported out-of-the-box with Formilla. Each job creator would need their own Formilla account which would be connected to their job post to accept incoming chats related to that post. The separation of accounts would be important to keep messages/data private between each job creator and tasker (e.g. no chat history or tasker data would be exposed that way between all your job creators).
I’m not sure how many job creators you expect to have, but I’m assuming it could be many. If this is a must have feature you’d like all job creators to have, you may need a customized solution built to handle your requirements.
Hope that helps clarify a bit! If you have any further questions or want to chat privately, please feel free to email us at support [at] formilla . com. Cheers!
FYI we released version 1.3.1 if you’d like to update to the latest version at your earliest convenience. Again, we appreciate the heads up!
Greetings! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Our dev team will take a look at it and try replicating the issue. We will post back to this thread once we learn more.
Hello!
We see you reached out to our support channel as well and hopefully you’re all set now! We’ll post the answer here too, just in case other users have similar questions:
Our Custom CSS feature allows you to adjust the location of your chat button and make it pixel-perfect for your needs.
To access this option, login to your Formilla dashboard –> click “Settings” in the left menu –> click “Widgets” in the sub-menu –> pencil/edit icon to edit your widget –> “Advanced Appearance” tab –> open the “Custom CSS” accordion –> and you’ll see options to adjust desktop and mobile CSS. In this case, you’d adjust your mobile CSS.
Cheers!
Formilla.com SupportHello, thanks for reaching out!?
Understandable ?? Sign-ups begin with a free 15-day trial on our “Growth” plan (with support for up to 2 chat agents) so you can try out all features. The free Standard version has a monthly limit of 30 chat conversations. It’s a good place to start for lower volume sites, however if you need more power such as mobile apps, chat bots, unlimited chats, etc. I’d recommend comparing between our paid packages: https://www.formilla.com/pricing.aspx
Feel free to start a chat with us at Formilla.com if you need additional help. Cheers!
Hello,
The plugin would not work inside of an Ionic app, and we do not currently support mobile-in-app use. You are welcome to give it a try if you like. We haven’t tried testing it ourselves by embedding the chat script in a mobile app. Some tweaks may be necessary. Since our chat widget is already mobile friendly, if the mobile app supports rendering JavaScript, then in theory it may be able to load our chat button just fine (e.g. you may be able to use a WebView on iPhone apps to render the javascript code). After that, it’s about the usability and if you want the actual chatting to occur inside the mobile app or using our Direct Link feature to simply open a link in the mobile browser to start a chat. Hope that helps! Please feel free to reach out to support [at] formilla.com if you have additional questions. Cheers.
Hello, thanks for inquiring!
Hmm, that’s an interesting use case. Our chat would not be able to support just a one way response from each side. You could theoretically setup a chat bot, but that would still engage live agents on the agent side for further conversation and wouldn’t get you 100% reliable responses from the bot. You may be able to accomplish what you’re looking to do with purely a FAQ-like chat bot, but I can’t think of one offhand that would truly meet your case.
Hope you’re able to find something that fits ?? Have a great week ahead!

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, once you have the plugin installed you can make modifications to your chat settings inside your Formilla account. Start by clicking “Widgets” from the Formilla menu –> then click the edit/pencil icon for your chat widget. On the next page, select the “Language” tab to make modifications and click “Save Changes”. Hope that helps!
Also, for faster support be sure to reach us at support[@]formilla.com. Have a great day! ??
Hi Ryan,
Thanks for reaching out and for the kind feedback! Yes, it sounds like you’re referring to the default Smart Message (proactive chat popup).
You can simply mouse-over ‘Contacts’ in the left menu from the dashboard, and select ‘Smart Messages’ from the sub-menu that flies out. On the following page you’ll see the default smart message where you can click the edit/pencil icon to edit the message and disable it, or simply delete it with the trash icon.
Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions and feel free to reach us at support [at] formilla.com as well. Enjoy the rest of your day!
Cheers,
Zack

In reply to: [Live Chat by Formilla - Real-time Chat & Chatbots Plugin] Custom ThemesHi Abraham,
Good question – the free version comes with our default theme which is white/blue/dark-gray. The premium versions allow several customizations of color, text, and imagery, however we don’t provide a selection of pre-developed themes if that’s what you’re looking for.
Hope that answers your question! Feel free to reach out at support [at] formilla.com if you have additional questions and let us know your registered Formilla email and website URL. Cheers!
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out! This is essentially a polling function on the client-side to determine whether the website visitor should see a chat popup from proactive chat (what we call auto-display) or that an agent requested a chat. It’s only showing consistently similar results when running it against a test tool like GT because it’s not seeing the full picture — when a chat comes in, the results will actually differ. This is by design, so we definitely don’t recommend trying to have just one URL pull the results (it’s load balanced) or change the behavior via caching or similarly as it will create issues with chat conversation.
Hope that clarifies! Please shoot us an email at support [at] formilla .com if you have any additional questions and we’d be glad to help. Cheers ??
Hi Ryan,
