In reply to: [List category posts] List Only Post ID (not Post name) by CategoryHi @fernandobt
I need to pass a list of post IDs from Specific Categories as a parameter to some custom code PHP Code.
I am using a plugin called Toolset and need to assign posts of a specific category as children to a parent of a specific category.
They do not allow me to bulk assign posts so I am left with having to use PHP and import the post IDs of a specific category as a parameter so that I can assign them to a Parent.
I need to automate this process because there will potentially be hundreds of posts daily. So I was hoping your plugin would be able to provide me with an ongoing updated list of Post IDs per Category…
Hope this explains…
Dear @asgaros
Toolset support has sent me the following message. Do you have a work around or a patch so that we could use the shortcode within a content template? From the sounds of it they are interested in working with you to fix this issue.
“Okay thanks, my second tier team has informed me that the way their plugin is written requires that the forum shortcode is placed in the post content. To get around that, we would have to work with their developers. If you’d like to initiate that process, please provide an email address where we can contact them directly. Otherwise, it looks like the workaround is your best option.”
Thanks
Dear @asgaros
It seems the issue we are having is with Toolset Content Templates. When the forum shortcode is placed within a content template, it does not render properly.
Outside of the content template there is no problem.
I have raised this issue with Toolset support. Hopefully between the two of you this issue can be resolved.
Thanks
The Asgaros Forum shortcode I am using is [forum forum=”2″].
The plugin I am using is https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/kadence-blocks/ (Kadence Blocks – Gutenberg Page Builder Toolkit)
I am pasting the Asgaros Forum shortcode into a Kadence Blocks Tab module.
The Kadence Blocks plugin is a free plugin.
Does this information help you to diagnose the problem and find a solution?
Thanks

In reply to: [Calculate Values with Shortcodes] Calculate Values from Favorite Post PluginUnfortunately I am not familiar enough with PHP to implement this in your plugin. But thanks for the guidance.
Do you have an ETA on an update for the plugin?
Thanks

In reply to: [Calculate Values with Shortcodes] Calculate Values from Favorite Post PluginI think you are right – I am noticing comment code in another shortcode value that doesn’t work with your plugin.
Is there an easy way of stripping non numeric values from shortcode results?
Thanks

The value in inspect codes is just 1 with no additional characters – the full code on display is:
<span data-favorites-post-count-id=”9675″ data-siteid=””>1</span>I hope this helps,

In reply to: [WP FullCalendar] Calendar Stuck on LoadingThere was a plugin conflict with Hotspots User Tracker. Only resolution was to disable the Hotspots plugin.
A senior level support technician contacted me immediately and worked super hard to solve the issue which he did. Mike was a God send and I appreciate his great efforts. Thanks – this issue is now resolved and the software works more than fine with all core features working. There was a conflict with the WP Editor plugin which they isolated and are developing a solution for. Thank-you for getting this solved!
Dear Angelo,
Thank you very much – I located the settings in the main blog and it is working just perfectly.
I appreciate your help.
If you have an email address I can send you a screen capture or access to the blog so you can see for yourself…
There is no “Enable Categories” option in the screen you described.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] the_content filterAs the author of the Ether plugin, you may also want to know another area that your plugin does not interact well with WordPress – in particular when you set the “Visibility” of a wordpress page to “Password Protected” all ether generated content remains visible. This is a big problem for any of us that would like to password protect pages generated by Ether Content Builder. I have left questions for Ether Support via email and forum but have no answers as of yet. Can you please help?
