Upgraded to 2.6. Link function frozen in active mode in write post. How do I deactivate link to continue writing a post?

Eureka!! Thanks, LesBessant. You were right all along. My problem was access to my config.php through WS-FTP.Pro. I could not see some hidden symbles before <?php. However, when I used a Java FTP program provided by my mysql service provider, I was able to actually see, not only the space, but those symbols. I deleted them and that solved the problem.

I have just complete and clean reinstall after creating a completely-new data base. Same problem: after logging into admin, I’m redirected to a blank login.php.

Same problem. Tried all the suggestions, including renaming the plugin directory.

Same problem. I even tried to fix the admin.php per: https://whiffer.net/2008/04/11/wp-25-blank-admin-page-fix/.
The fact is the admin/pwd (wp-login.php) just cycles to a blank (wp-login.php). It does not cycle to (wp-admin/admin.php) or (wp-admin/index.php). Anyone with some more ideas?

Still unable to access “Dashboard.” It’s a blank on my new blog site. As a control, I loaded WordPress onto another site, which I control. Worked almost fine until I tried to reach Dashboard. Instead, I got this:

I have finally been able to get WordPress installed to the point of my admin login page. However, when I try to log in to get to the dashboard, nothing happens in order to get to the . A blank screen comes up with the original address: https://www.**/blog/wp-login.php. Anyone have any ideas how to move that part of the stalled process along?

I am having the exact same problem posted by qube. I too use gate.com. I went through all the back checks. Has anyone come up with a solution?
