You’re very welcome micknevis!
Photo Gallery looks like a nice plugin…would love to see it compatible with Fotomoto.
Kind regards,
DerekHi micnevis,
I took a look at the lightbox that opens when clicking a thumbnail on your page, and unfortunately it’s not one that’s compatible with Fotomoto at this time. Here’s an article that explains the situation: https://support.fotomoto.com/customer/en/portal/articles/8651-fotomoto-compatibility-with-wordpress-plugins-and-themes.
That said, the developer can make Fotomoto work; here’s an article on how it can be done: https://support.fotomoto.com/customer/en/portal/articles/768881-integrating-fotomoto-into-an-image-gallery.
If we can be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact us via https://support.fotomoto.com/customer/portal/emails/new
I hope that helps and kind regards,

@kbat82 Regarding Fotomoto working with MetaSlider, I’d like to test it and see if it will work by default. I assume it might not as our script will try to insert a “Buy” link for the visible “active” image, but likely needs to be told which image that is.
We’d be happy to test it on our end if you can provide an evaluation copy to us, otherwise maybe we could get Fotomoto set up on a test gallery that uses MetaSlider. If it doesn’t work, the article I provided above explains the basics about making it compatible. We’re happy to work with you on this to make sure that our mutual customers can use Fotomoto with MetaSlider.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] WPPA+ fitted for commercial site ?Hi Guy,
Derek from Fotomoto here – just wanted to chime in and make sure you understand how Fotomoto pricing works. We have three subscription plans, and one is Free (no monthly fee) where we just take a larger (22%) transaction fee of the sale price that you set. The other two plans are paid and offer lower transaction fees – these are designed for sellers who do higher volume and want a lower transaction fee. Basically, the more you sell, the more you save on transaction fees.
For a complete guide about how to choose the best subscription plan for your needs, please see our How to choose a Subscription Plan article.
If I can help answer any other questions about Fotomoto, please contact us directly.
Kind regards,
Derek from FotomotoHi all,
Derek from Fotomoto here – I just wanted to chime in about what it would take for Fotomoto to work with MetaSlider. First I would suggest just giving it a try: create the Fotomoto account and install the Fotomoto plugin for WordPress, and see if the Buy links work on each slide in MetaSlider.
If that doesn’t work, Fotomoto can be made compatible with fairly minimal JavaScript. This is something to consider adding as a feature to the plugin, as it easily enables e-commerce for the users. Here is an article about how it’s done, Integrating Fotomoto into an image gallery, and just let us know if you need a hand with anything.
Also, please note that we’re happy to feature MetaSlider on our list of compatible plugins once we’ve verified it works as expected.
Let us know if we can be of any other assistance.
Best,

In reply to: [Fotomoto] Does Not Work on Mobile DevicesHi artsnovadotcom,
Just updating the post here to let you and others know that the Fotomoto shopping cart Widget does now work on smaller screens like mobile devices. We released a fix for this about seven months ago.

In reply to: [Pinboard] Fotomoto compatibility?Hi Bruce,
Derek from Fotomoto just chiming in here =). Fotomoto compatibility with this and any other theme will depend on how what it uses for an image gallery library. Fotomoto works with several libraries out-of-the-box, but there are hundreds if not thousands of libraries out there.
The point is that our JavaScript needs to be able to detect which image is the current one being viewed so that it can put the Buy links underneath.
If the theme developer would like to ensure that their theme is compatible, we’re happy to work with them and help promote their theme as compatible. If anyone needs to get in touch with us about this, they certainly can at https://support.fotomoto.com/customer/portal/emails/new.
I hope that helps!

In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] Fotomoto & filename problemHi all,
Just saw the thread here – don’t mind me jumping in.
Just to clarify Jacob, Iain is trying to set things up so that he can use our Auto Pickup feature to fetch the high-resolution files needed to create products. As in the article above, we need a way to match the web filenames to their print counterparts.
I just want to mention a few relevant things here to help Iain get things going.
1. Iain you *could* store high-resolution files in a password-protected directory on your server where access is limited to a single user listed in your Fotomoto account, then Fotomoto can grab them via HTTP or SFTP.
2. Jacob, since your plugin uses Fotomoto in API mode, it’s now possible for you to pass us the URL where the high-resolution files are stored. FYI this is a highly sought-after feature that no other plugins are using yet. Just email us if you’d like more info.
I hope that helps and if I can assist further just let me know.

In reply to: Looking for both a "Pic of the Day", & fotomoto-friendly slideshowHi songdove,
Derek from Fotomoto here. My recommendation for a slideshow presentation would be one of the plugins that uses Galleria. Depending on the plugin author’s implementation, Galleria may be configured to meet your needs.
The full-screen requirement may require some custom CSS or using Fotomoto in API mode, because by default Fotomoto will put Buy Buttons below the image, and there needs to be room under the image to display them.
If you’ve got specific question about all this, feel free to email us directly.
Last, if any enterprising gallery developers out there want to partner with us and integrate Fotomoto in their gallery that meets the needs above, it can be done using the instructions in Integrating Fotomoto into an image gallery.
Thanks and kind regards,

In reply to: [Fotomoto] changing the profit % on fotomotoHi jimmyfootsteps,
Thanks for the post and I will verify that everything is working as expected. In the meantime the pricing helper should be working fine to set the pricing though the form field may be resetting to 100%.
Of course you can still set your prices manually (which you may want to do anyway) as explained at Set product and pricing options.
If you need any further assistance with this please feel free to email us here.
Thanks and kind regards,

In reply to: [Fotomoto] changing the profit % on fotomotoHi jimmyfootsteps,
Thanks for your question. To change the percentage you can use the Quick Pricing Helper – just log in to your Fotomoto Dashboard, click the Store tab at the top, then scroll down and click on a Collection (like For Sale) under Collections, then click the desired product icon (like Print), then on that page you’ll see an orange “Quick Pricing” button – click that and you can change your percentages.
Note you can also change individual product pricing and availability options as explained here:
