In reply to: How do i fetch data from an external site?Matt and Ryan, you have been very helpful.
At this time learning PHP would be a long shot for me. I’ll probably feed the data manually in that case.
What do you reckon using? Should I simply use HTML/CSS and create the sidebar boxes and tables i need? Or is there a faster and neater way of doing it with some widgets or tools?Forum: Hacks
In reply to: How do i fetch data from an external site?Appreciate your reply. Am not very familiar with these terms, so am not sure if i understand this well. But is there any way for me to verify whether these external sites allow this thing? Eventually I would be looking at not just leh.nic but also a couple of other sites for other data.
Also, Do I need to know any coding to put this in effect?

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Volume control not workingNah volume=”10″ is not working for me even without template1.
Anyway, like you said, it seems to be a developers bug, so there’s nothing I can do to change it myself.I appreciate your assistance though. Thanks again!

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Volume control not workingThank you, sir.
But I added the template1 code just today. Originally when I posted this problem, I had this problem without inserting template1 into my shortcode.
Ok i’ll try adding volume=”10″ maybe 50 doesn’t work.

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Volume control not workingLocal set up as in? This is just my hobby, and I just use my home PC.
I have re-enabled the Music player. You can see now. Volume is set for 50, and it plays full volume.
This time ive added the code for template1 (seekbar and volume). If you notice, the mute does not work. It just makes the volume slightly lower. And the seek bar does not work either. omg lol. You can visually move the position of the track but the actual track remains unchanged.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Volume control not workingMy url is https://www.trekkipedia.in
I’ve deactivated the audio player for now. Would you prefer it on?
Am quite green when it comes to wordpress, so I don’t feel confident about being able to handle a theme change without losing my current set up. I might have to go through a lot of tutorials or other articles for that.

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] Volume control not workingNope still doesn’t work. Does anybody have a solution for this? Or maybe another audio plug-in that supports auto play?
I tried the AudioPlayer plug-in. This one is way better, just the volume control is a little messed up.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Compact WP Audio Player] the music stoped when i change de pageI am not sure if thats possible with the plug in. Maybe try and enter the code in the main template of the theme? I don;t know if that would work.

In reply to: Background color of table not workinghey never mind… i figured it out ?? thanks a ton!
Anyone else facing this issue, hover your mouse to “Appearance” in the wp-dashboard> select custom CSS> and enter what stephencottontail asked to.
.entry-content tr {
background: none;
}This should take care of your issue.
Once again, thanks, stephen
