    Just an update,

In the meantime I have went back to old backups. I repeated what I did this time on one set of media.

As an example there is a phot of an product that I see in media library as attached to a product. then there are 5 other the same photos that are seen as unattached. When I delete only these unattached photos, the photo that is seen as attached becomes corrupted and regenerate thumbnails not working anymore stating original photo is not found.Hence the empty box on the shop page.

I have it total 3600 photos and 2700 is reported as unattached. I want o get rid of them but ?f I take action I come to this problem. Is there nay idea to fix the issue?

    WP: 4.9.8
    Woocommerce : 3.5.1
    Flatsome : 3.7

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick comments.

Inside the media library you can select to list the unattached photos, so that’s how I did it. I did not use FTP file manager.
But then to inquire I looked at this WPcontent/ upload folder. All the photos are there.I can even see some of the photos when I edit from the media library, even if it shows a grey box with blue question mark in the grid mode.

When I want to regenerate the thumbnails. It says original size photo is not there. Bu that’s not true. There are many original sized photos. At the moment together with the them options, it created like 8 different thumbnails.

Npt sure if this information was useful for you.

    thank you Adeline.
Actually at the moment I struggle with accessing the WP admin of the newly created site. I chose the method of creating a subdomain. I have copied the wordpress files and then it prompted me the initial setting for workers so that I can reenter the new URL and the homepage. Until this moment I though I succeeded.

After I have copied the original database through my hosting control panel using export-import function, I lost my hope. Now I cannot access the wpadmin anymore and it gives me also errors of subdomain does not exist.
Where do I do wrong? I dont know.
    Feza
