But when left unchecked there’s no error message to prompt the user to tick the box.

Thanks for the code however now I no longer have a box but instead I have a field with 1 in it – which wont mean anything to the user. What is the code for a checked box?

Thanks for your reply. You were right. I recreated the page plus reviewed all old redirects and bingo – all working fine now. Thanks so much.

Oh dear, I asked a plugin support team to run the cURL test again and the page is still returning a 404.

You’ve been very helpful thank you. I’ve may have discovered the plugin that was causing the issue. Would you mind taking a look at that page again and see if the error404 has gone?

Hi, thanks for responding. The page is in the site map (3rd from bottom) and it is listed when I go to Pages from the Dashboard. I’m assuming that most of my pages have the same error as Google has only indexed 6 out of 53.

Do you have any suggestions as to what is causing the strange error?

Not the same issue for me. The form definitely hangs, there’s no tick or message and after a while the Recaptcha says it has expired and to re-verify. Yet the forms are still being sent. Weird. Can anyone explain this?

Great advice thank you. I’ve done your suggestions for the plugin and theme problems but the error is still there. I’m a bit nervous about your final suggestion re-uploading all files & folders etc – is there a step by step guide that I can follow?

I’m now thinking this is just a Firefox issue.

Ignore this – I’ve solved the problem and no it wasn’t to do with this plugin!

I’m not too confident with editing the CSS stylesheet. Could you explain which part of the code I should change to insert a new colour?

Thanks for your responses but sorry that didn’t work. I am definitely using the same label used in the form. I tried changing the form label back to the default and changed the label in mail field back to the defaul but now I just get an email with ‘wordpress’ in the ‘from field.’
