Story line in bullet points:
I opened the wp-admin portal to edit pages.
I attempted to edit pages and received error message that pages were not available and to contact administrator. WP debug link provided.
Troubleshooting by deactivating plug ins showed that Custom Sidebar was involved in preventing pages to open for editing.
Custom Sidebar was changed inactive. I was then able to access pages to edit.
Attempted to download new Custom Sidebar and install.
Received installation failure posted above.
Placed first posting noted above.
Support response asked me to attempt downloading other plug ins.
I could not download any plug ins (original Custom Sidebar was inactive but still loaded).
I worked with my ISP support. Deleting Custom Sidebar from site allowed me to download various plug ins.
I downloaded and installed Custom Sidebar. The inability to access pages re-appeared and I could no longer download and install plug ins.
I deactivated and uninstalled Custom Sidebar plug in. My challenges were resolved so I could edit pages and download other plug ins.
In short, as long as I do not have Custom Sidebar installed on my site, I can work with my pages normally.
I hope this helps…fred
Greetings:
After working with my site and the ISP technicians I am still having issues any time the Custom Sidebar plug-in is loaded. I am at a loss on how to remedy the situation. I do hope that you are able to provide assistance. I used the Custom Sidebar plug-in for about a 1/3 of my pages. Your guidance and assistance is greatly appreciated.
fredThank you for your quick response. I attempted to download other plug ins. I found the service will not allow me to do so. I have the ISP working to resolve the matter.
Thank you, again.
You may want to disregard this ticket.
I realized that I provided you the wrong URL. When I went through the process to get you correct URL (https://www.ahea.org/clone/ahea-annual-conferences/ahea-annual-conference-2020/), I saw that the sidebar was now displaying.
SO, I reviewed all of my browsers and all was as it should be.
The strange thing is that I have been working on the sidebar issue for over 7 days (off and on).
Thank you…fred
My apologies. I had the thread open when I worked on the issue from your last message. I obviously did not mark as resolved.
Thank you for your help!
fredIt appears that the hosting company does not permit Wordfence.
Thank you for your assistance.
fredI am still locked out. *sigh*
I attempted to log in to one of my subdirectory sites. I retrieved the error logs. I do not see any reference to Wordfence.
My main sites the “wordfence-waf.php” is in the root directory.
For my subdirectory sites, there is not a “wordfence-waf.php” file. I have not been able to access the admin panel to load Wordfence.
Even though I have a sub-directory with a separate WordPress install, the root directory would be the same as the main site, yes?
My main site is fredprasuhn.com
Thus, the root directory is /home/fred/public_html/fredprasuhn.com?I believe I am correct.
For one of my other domains, with its own WP install, the root directory would be /home/fred/public_html/domain1?
For the sub-directory within domain1, and with its own WP install, the root directory would be /home/fred/public_html/domain1/sub1?
Thank you for your guidance.
I cleared the browser cache and used private/incognito mode to attempt to log in to my sub-directories. I receive the same window; I am locked out.
Might the issues be due to the discussion found https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plagued-by-locked-out/#post-10684697
My apologies, this is where I start getting lost. So, I want to verify I understand.
The file “wordfence-waf.php” should be located in my root directory (in my case /home/fred)?
OR
Do you mean the root directory as “/home/fred/public_html”?
The “wordfence-waf.php” is currently located in my “”/home/fred/public_html”.
That would mean that “wordfence-waf.php” should not be in any of the subdirectorys, yes?
FYI:
I even diabled Wordfence firewall. \
Saved the change.
Attempted to log in to the sub site.
Still receive “You are temporarity locked out” screen of death.I have done this procedure mutliple times in the past to create a test environment. What is going on?????

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Unable to Export Out of disk spaceI saw that update was released. I downloaded the change. I ran the plugin and still received the “out of disk space” error message again. I copied and pasted the exact message to your ServMask ticket that is open with my information.
