In reply to: [Plugin Advanced Access Manager] Can't turn off commentsI guess my theme does the same since it works on my site except when AMM is activated.
I made my theme with ThemeFrame. As I’m not very good with coding, I’ll ask the ThemeFrame people if a ThemeFrame theme checks what you said.I’ll post here if I get interesting info.
Thanks for your quick reply, Vasyl
FranThank you very much for you thorough answer, Mike. It’s fixed.
But these things are new, aren’t they ? It was working as it was (without error messages) before the update. However, I’m sure it’s for the best. Your contact form is brilliant !One more thing, for your info. My extra field 9, I din’t need to add a label actually, it’s working fine without it.
Thanks you very much !

In reply to: Custom ThemesIf it’s not too late for you I really REALLY suggest ThemeFrame. It costs 60$ (for ever not per year) but it’s really worth it.
I’ve been using it for a few months by now and I couldn’t be happier with it.Me too, I wanted to make my own designs and this tool allows that in a very simple, smart and flexible way. Awsome !
(I swear I’m not part of the ThemeFrame team and I won’t get any money from writing this haha !)Thanks for the compliment, Kristian ?? I hope some will find the tutorial handy.
Glad my tutorial seems to already make someone happy ??
About your other question, I don’t think my reply will be very accurate because I don’t know much about the Nextgen slideshow feature but I’ll mention other stuff (NextGen compatible) that might help (?)
– The plugin Lightbox Plus allows a slideshow and it displays the arrows you’re talking about. It works with NextGen too. In that case, you wouldn’t need the NextGen slideshow itself though – I think you would have to display your gallery thumbs on your page and on the first click, the slideshow would start (or maybe it can even start as soon as the page opens ? not sure of that though…)
– Another way is a slideshow with a scrolling strip of thumbs underneath. For that, the plugin NextGen Scroll Gallery is really great! No arrows but the way to “force” the progression of the show is to click either on the current image or on any thumb.
Both plugins offer options that are easy to set (which is not always the case…)
– 3d solution : the plugin NextGen Monoslideshow. The look and effect are fantastic and it also displays a thumb strip but the settings are not that easy to handle (to my point of view). Oh and it costs 25$ (no trial period)
If my reply is not satisfying, I hope someone else will jump in for you…
If I’m not too late, maybe my tutorial here would help you –> https://www.ajwan.net/wordpress/?page_id=844
OK already got contacted twice so here are the codes
Scroll Gallery main css :
https://pastebin.com/GxA0PuyVScroll Gallery Gray design css :
https://pastebin.com/e6Ay1BuuAh well, the codes I just posted are gone (sory for not having read the forum rules about codes). I don’t have the courage to upload them somewhere now. If interested, contact me.
Just discovered this plugin. Love it!
I really needed the thumbs bar to be vertical though. So I thought I’d share the changes I applied to the CSS sheet. See code below. The only problem I still have is that, the way I did, the vertical bar gets a scroll bar if the total of thumbnails goes over the height of the scroll gallery. It’s OK but not great…
If someone knows how to avoid that and rather have the same effect as with the horizontal bar of thumbs, please, post ??To see the result of my CSS, check this page –> https://www.ebadidon.be/galerie/galerie-lebadiscaphe/
The following values suit my settings and would probably need to be changed by anyone else :
– the top margin of .scrollgallery .scrollGalleryFoot
– the height of .scrollgallery .thumbarea
– the width of .scrollgallery .scrollGalleryFoot (this fits with 50 X 50 thumbnails)The other changes include several changes that are not essential and just belong to my taste.
The margin and height mentioned above are probably not the best way to do. I guess there’s a way so that you wouldn’t have to change those values each time you change your settings… Again, is someone knows better, pleas post.

In reply to: [Event Calendar] [Plugin: Ajax Event Calendar] Cannot scroll edit windowsHurrrrah !!!!! It’s working !
See, I’m not very knowlegeable with coding… The plugin has several CSS files, I woudln’t have known which one to modify if you hadn’t told me.
Also, I saw this at the top of custom.css :
/* DO NOT EDIT - CHANGES MADE TO THIS FILE WILL BE LOST ON PLUGIN UPDATE */ /* ADD STYLE OVERRIDES TO YOUR THEME'S STYLE.CSS */
That’s why I first tried to add your code in my theme Style.css and that didn’t work.
Now I suppose that after a plugin update, I’ll just need to paste the code again and that’s it…
(I hope the plugin creator will fix that in the next version though…)THANK YOU SO MUCH, giancsfo for your attention and help :)))

In reply to: [Event Calendar] [Plugin: Ajax Event Calendar] Cannot scroll edit windowsIt Works! See here
Maybe it resolves your problem on the frontend. My problem is on the backend, on the form with fields to fill up, when trying to create an event. So maybe our problem is not exactly the same ?
My problem is also described here on the forum : https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-ajax-event-calendar-no-scroll-bar-need-for-lower-resolutions?replies=2#post-2551769
