I think I have the same request.
When I change the permalink of a draft article (so not even published), it creates a line in the permalink dashboard.
I would like to create the redirects manually when needed too.
How can I proceed?

I don’t know if you did it on purpose or not, but it did actually.

There was two new releases of woocommerce as well so the might have come from there too.

I am confirming that the yoast was the source of the problem.

As soon as I deactivated yoast the problem disappeared.

Yoast released a new version recently, which I installed as I thought that new release was out to solve this problem among others.

With that new version, there is no problem anymore.
