Solved! It was the Polylang problem — I had installed the Plugin (which was re-branded by my Theme’s vendor) and could not even imagine that this was the Polylang Plugin.

I had no idea where to look for “… visit Languages -> Settings” as the hint in the WP Beckend said. Languages? Where would that be? Finally I found the Language Plugin settings somewhere in the Admin settings of my Theme …

Neither could I imagine that there was a setting for Media.

So the explanation is obvious: Stupid me, powerful software.

I fully understand your point regarding your motivation. I felt the same when I read Elegant Theme’s statement.

Besides that I tried the snippet. Result: no hyphenation in the parts generated by Divi’s Theme Builder.

Divi Development has the problem on its list — but of course there’s no statement when they will look at it. So far Divi Support claims that it is a Plugin problem though.

While chatting with Dvi Support I got this statement:

“They should change their code so they will not look only for the_content function but the entire code in the page.”

PS. I am just starting with Divi and encountered the problem in this project:

The left side of the starting page (one column) is generated by a Post/Page. Hyphenation works here as expected. The right side of the starting page (two columns) is content generated by the Divi Theme Builder — as you can see hyphenation does not work in this area.

2. As the certificate was not issued for https://www.wettbretter.de it cannot reach it.

3. When I go to https://www.wettbretter.de it will be redirected to https://wettbretter.de which is fine.

I run a website that is both avalable under https://www.domain.de and domain.de.

The checkbox option to also generate the certificate for both domains is not shown.

What did I miss?

Hi again,

I just installed the latest version and the graphics are fixed. Great! Due to the changelog this was the only change.

My two tickers have a different layout now with version 2.2.16: The content is moved partly out of the ticker area to the left. Was there any other changes made in version 2.2.16?

I reinstalled version 2.2.15 and the layout is ok again (the graphics of course are not).

I am not a Cron expert (far from that) and to understand the settings this needs some learning for me. I am ok with that.

But as I am sure that I am not alone maybe users would appreciate some explanation in the GUI for the “Advanced” option for “Schedule execution time”. Right now it is more a try and error approach for Cron dummies like me.

A short example like this would be really helpful: What would the settings be for a backup run each Monday and Thursday at 2:00 am?

I have the feeling that this would be enough already.

Hide Menu Admin Settings: Nothing checked

I can reproduce the problem on a second and third website I run. I disabled all plugins and enabled them one by one. It is Hide Admin Menu that causes the site to break.

Switching Hide Admin Menu off solves the problem. Re-installing V1.07 solves the problem too.
