The problem is the mySql version. The plugin specify 5.7 and above, my version is 5.6.
I can only suggest to adapt the plugin to 5.6 version that is very common.

no, any plugin. The video is embedded with the Wp native function that render automatically the video after you paste the url in the default editor.

Without App Id I cannot send any meta ??
I think the problem is Facebook, meta tags are correctly send from site.

if you click on fb share you’ll see the image but no description and title, but if you check fb debugger all meta’s are correctly sended. Also you can inspect the DOM and you can find all open graphs set correctly.

I’m having the same identical issue.
My WP is updated at the latest release (4.9) and the Yoast plugin version is 5.8.

The Facebook debugger console shows me the following errors:

The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

and

Following properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id

Naturally in DOM all these properties are explicitly provided in the correct way.

If you need some extra info I can send you some urls or reference.
