that’s the point, it is disabled ??

Everything was working good, but since the last update, there are some bugs with the buddypress notification bell.

When users send messages (private) The counter (notificatin bell) goes up but it says “you have no new messages. Although the messages do arrive in the inbox.

And when a user post something in the chatroom .. then ALL users their counters are going up ?? and also saying “you have no new messages” , but I don’t want that all users get a notification when someone post something in the chatroom .. else it’s going to be a lot of notifications everywhere ??

But like I said, it started doing that since the last update.

I finally found it…. Ultimate member was also still installed on the wordpress site.. it gave a conflict, I removed it and the problem was fixed.

With youzify disabled and only buddypress enabled , the problem still exists.

In the reactions it uses the “username” , but in the activity stream (posts or firendship etc ..”, it is still showing a “url” .

havent found it yet .. but I think it has to do with the meta_key

If you register as a member you have to fill in the “username” .. that field has a meta_key attached to it.. so if I know what that meta_key from the “user field” is, then I think I can fix it.

I created four accounts myself .. and in all accounts .. in the user profile front-end , like in your screenshot .. it are the usernames that are shown there .. not a url .. in all four accounts it’s just the username ..

In the profile, it shows the username. but on the activity screen, it shows a url ..

I also updated the permalinks, doesn’t change anything either.

What exactly do you mean with “Account profile settings page” ? .. the settings in the plug-in itself ? .. or on the front-end ?

front-end –> Profile –> Profile settings ?

Or directly in the settings of the plug-in ?

Because I can’t find any name field that I added a URL , I checked ALL settings from the plug-in. And it’s not only with my account, it’s the same thing with the accounts of all users.

And from what page exactly do you want me to take a screenshot please ?

Can i put the code on a single page? for example ..

on the page “my_posts” , I can only see my own posts.
and
on the page “all_posts”, I can see posts of all the users ?

Maybe with a child theme?
