i was just went to reactivate the plugin so I could take a screen capture of the error and now it seems to have went through (even though it was literally 4 times before with the error coming up EVERY TIME)..
did someone disconnect the domain???
makes no freaking sense.
thats exactly what I mean. i am trying to connect to jetpack through my own wordpress installation
i cant restore access because i have no clue what user id it is or what email i used to set it up.
its been so long ago that I no longer have access.
i have gotten back into 3 other wordpress.com accounts that I have connected to other domains but not to the one that is connected to fredbeers.com
if there was a way that I can search and find it, i could probably figure it out on my own.
but as of right now. i have no way of doing that hence my inquiry here..

thankyou for the reply. the domain is the issue.
the domain is already registered with jetpack.
doing what you suggest will accomplish nothing because the domain is still registered in an account I cannot access.
the error message i get has to do with the domain.
i need to get that old account with my domain name attached to it to be canceled.
i have no way of doing that. so essentially my whole domain name is held for ransom.
