Hey Richard, as Mike says we’re sorry to hear it’s not working for you! If you can give us more details we’d love to investigate and get this fixed.

Hey eflouret. We’re sorry to hear you the bar isn’t working for you! I’ve just looked at our description text and realise it doesn’t say that this is MailChimp only for now. I’ll make sure we update that on our next release (hopefully this weekend).

The reason we’re MailChimp only is that we wanted to get this out the door for people to start using as soon as possible without looking to add every mail service out there. This way we can see which services people are asking for and prioritise those.

As for us, if you agree that this isn’t actually an issue with the plugin itself but rather an issue with it not being as fully featured as you’d like then we’d love it if you could reverse your review, it seems a little harsh to have a 1* review because the plugin doesn’t do everything a user might want.

Again, sorry for the confusion. I hope with the clarification we add on the description this will satisfy you at least for now, until we’re able to support more services.

Hi Rodrigo. No worries. I don’t know much about it myself, other than that it’s changing. Understand you’re busy so no pressure on it. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to do any work on the plugin myself.

The current facebook-php-sdk doesn’t seem to clarify what version of the API it’s using, but equally doesn’t say about whether there’s a deadline for use before needing to switch to facebook-php-sdk-v4. Hard to tell on the face of it.
