Another good approach, either on low- or high-volume websites actually, is to disable WordPress cron altogether by adding ‘define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true)’ to wp-config.php and then running the crons through WP CLI.

I have written a custom registration/login page using Formidable. They work fine but it would be nice if I could show a popup on the auction page when a user is not logged in that says ‘You need to be registered and logged in to bid’ (with links to my login/registration pages).

Is it possible to make such a popup show above the auction?

Well okay there is some problem with it still, which is that you can’t invite-anyone somebody who’s already in the database, that is invite-anyone, so withholding 5 star rating for now ??

Boone, I apologize but the above is actually incorrect I believe.

Invite Anyone doesn’t generate the picklist with names from other blogs I believe, it must be Buddypress itself that’s doing that.

I updated my report as I just realized that as I’m getting more users on my site, more and more people that I don’t know myself, I do no longer know who are the people that can see all the subscriber information.

I run my business site on one wordpress site, a non-profit on another. I cannot afford to have people from the non-profit ogling through my business site subscribers!!!

Please fix this as soon as you get an opportunity. I also won’t mind digging through the code and see if I can figure it out myself and provide you with a patch.
