Okay, then I will do that.

I managed to figure it out myself. Apparently it was slow-loading setting in the Jetpack plugin that caused it.

Thanks for your suggestion. I haven’t tried that. The problem though is that the website is live and is getting quite a lot of traffic at the moment and deactivating everything would ruin their experience of the site. I guess I ideally should have tested it better before launching it, but that’s too late now. I will therefore wait to see if anyone else have experienced the same issue and if so what they did to solve it before I try shutting off everything.
