@pingram3541 I did try the FB group before coming here. Apparently some FB glitch was not allowing the ‘Join group’ to take. Was able to complete it this morning though. Pretty much spot on with your assessment.

I seriously want to dump Yoast and use this. I’m having issues with the sitemap also. On primary site cache plugin in ‘develpoer mode’ means cache is bypassed (either get parsing error or 404) – flush permalink suggestion not working. FWI sitemap already excluded in Swift performance

On stage site – No cache pluging or ‘special htaccess rules’ 404 and again, suggestion ‘flush permalinks’ not working.

I have entertained the idea of upgrading although there may be some overlap of features, but if I can’t get the simple things to work…

That would be a smart move @mihaiimagely & thank you for the response. I can see where it’s used on the backend, but nowhere in the front end or at least by my settings. Nevertheless javascript loads from fontawesome on respective pages NextGen is associated on the front end. Nearly doubles mobile load time despite caching. Perhaps developers need to think things all the way through before they add anymore bloat

@edanzer – Perhaps some of us are smart enough to hold off and observe the forum for issues before we update. I’ve learned to do this for several plugins

I’m not keen on any plugin writing redirects to the database I don’t like WordPress doing it either. Any redirects, I want in htaccess, then I know precisely where they are and what to do if it screws up.

especially when you have stuff cached already. I saw that on the change log and thought… nope. I have more important things to do than trouble shoot and fix something somebody thought was cute. Until I know how it’s going to play with my already cached files, I think I’ll hold off. Maybe even change up SEO plugins completely

For the record, I was unable to use FF (latest) to activate 1.6.6 version. I didn’t consider trying Chrome again, but on a whim using feedback about using ‘Edge’ elsewhere I opted to try IE 11.

2 browsers, Firefox (latest) and Chrome (latest) Both clean cache. Sorry, but I don’t know you well enough nor know about ‘Swift’ enough to feel comfortable with ‘Admin’ access. Furthermore, not fond of people changing stuff and I have no idea what. I am using multiple things with licenses’ thus requiring ‘activation’. Even took the ‘fix’ of someone else in this forum and tried the ‘reinstall’ (Today) but no avail. Your domain’s IP is not blocked assuming activating is querying your domain (IP)

Reinstalling did not work for me and even though it was updated 3 days ago. Setup wizard is not working for me. I appreciate your response though!

Enter email and password to activate and it does nothing, hence ‘can’t get past activation process’
Nope didn’t delete them all, left at least two. I don’t remember exactly what they were.
Yes, I removed through WP admin.

FTR, I attempted to install and activate on two occasions Today. waited an hour in between after deleting and making sure all traces were gone, browser cache cleared and all the bells and whistles stuff.
