Not long ago, other WordPress plugins abused this API resources and caused API down for like a whole day.

In order to protect the API so that everyone can use it, one country at a time for now. I think it is enough for personal and small business.

There will probably NOT be multiple countries data showing at the same time in this plugin, as alternative you can choose to show continents or global data instead. it’s a free API, we should protect it ??

Yeah, the order of continents had been changed form api data, will fix this with next release.

The API rolls updates every ten minutes, the date came from Johns Hopkins University, the New York Times, Worldometers, and Apple reports .

This data will inevitably have some differences from the actual, but this is understandable.

@shone83 I’m using “Hyper Cache” and Fast “Velocity Minify”.

You can try these above.

But, JavaScript conflicts are sometimes relative with your theme, so if there is problem, try to disable JavaScript minify on setting page of Velocity Minify.

You are using minify plugin which merged all JavaScripts into one file, this sometimes is not the best choice.

Try to disable JavaScript minify or add plugin JavaScripts in ignoring list, your web will be fine.

The country names in single county and continents names are in html.
Numbers are changing, the api updates the numbers in every 10 minutes, that is why I didn’t save numbers to WordPress database, and as the numbers are different for every 10 minutes, the numbers have little meaning to search engines.

You can choose India in plugin setting page, select checkbox “show single country data”. then write short code [cov2019] in your post or page.

But there will be a “Global data” above India data, not exactly “India only”, sorry about that.

Will improve in later versions.
