Yeah, unfortunately that happens a lot. Almost every previous web design service I used to use when I was first getting started online doesn’t even exist anymore.
Thanks for the info.
Hey thanks for the response! Generally for PhpBB do I just simply install it in to a specific directory on WordPress and go to whatever the install portion of PhpBB is(
(???), then get the bridge plugin and activate it?
/wp-content/plugins/
This one, right?
Hey thanks for the response, but unfortunately if it’s not one of the ones listed above it doesn’t support other coding in conjunction with some other things I wanted to use it for(It’s an awkward situation in regards to weird tracking issues and such so the ones listed above are my only options, xD.), which do you think would be closest to BBpress, or that would be easiest for me to go from BBpress to converting them into one of them?

In reply to: Is it OK to publish 100 optimized pages at the same time?I don’t think product pages are counted the same as if they were blog posts as a lot of stores pop up and put a lot of different types of products in all at once to give them the best possible chance at exposure. I think ultimately it would depend on the coding of your page. Do the product pages fall under a more individualized page, or do they fall more under a catalog type of page. There are programs if you’re that worried you can run or even plugins you can use that will gradually update your content and add it in for you if you’re worried about it adding all of a sudden at once.
Go to your WordPress and go to Portfolio then Services, and add a new “service. Won’t be “ideal” as you’ll still have the “project” part in it, but it would look something like,
yoursite.com/project-services/products/
What I did to circumvent that is simply made a normal blog page, and then linked to the custom services page, which made for a more ideal landing page as it let me change the permalink on the custom blog page.

In reply to: [Corpo] How do I add descriptions to service pagesfreelancepreneur.com/project-services/freelancers/
I wanted to provide descriptions in my tagged keywords but it won’t let me. I have the description all typed out for that particular tagged word, but it simply doesn’t show up in the page.
Attached image showing that I have filled out the details for my “freelancers” tagged services page but it’s still not showing up on the actual page:
https://i60.tinypic.com/28iom8h.jpgThe only place I seem to be able to is just simply on the main portfolio page as seen here,
freelancepreneur.com/project/
Essentially. I wanted two seperate pages. One was going to be for my services only, and then the other was going to be for the freelancers services and I wanted two different descriptions. It gives me an option to update the tags and set a description, but that description just doesn’t show up for any other pages but the portfolio one.
And yes, the “description, slug, and count” are all checkmarked to show on screen.
The only plugin that I have active that might interfere with it is the “All in One SEO” plugin that I prefer to use for the ease of adding meta-tags but I seriously doubt that’s the case.
Essentially my question is, can I actually enable descriptions on tagged service pages and if so, how?

In reply to: [Corpo] Can I make two different "Project" instances?Figured out you can just make individual service pages and link directly to them. Resolved.
