I am having the same issue. I also paid for premium support and have not received any. Looks like MANY people have this problem. I have done EVERYTHING suggested and NOTHING works. I have other websites that had no issues. But I get this error message when trying to upload ANY demo.
Can not retrieve sample data xml file. The server may be down at the moment please try again later. If you still have issues contact the theme developer for assistance.
