Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Drop-down menus hidden by Wow SliderOk, I went to look for “custom css” as Andrew said, and found an un-activated custom css in jetpack. I clicked to activate it and then it all went wrong. It kept saying server error when I tried to go to another page. Now, if I try and do anything at all – even log-in to my dashboard, I get this message.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function jetpack_is_mobile() in /home1/loveyow0/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/custom-css/custom-css.php on line 17
How can I fix this? I can’t log-in to my dashboard at all, so will I be able to fix it though my webhost account? I’m with bluehost.
Hello everyone,
I’m having a similar problem…
I’ve recently installed All in One SEO pack and have added a site title and desription as requested. I’ve also added page titles and descriptions on the page editor.
However, none of this is showing up when I search in Google. All that shows up is a site title (automatically generated, not the one I added) and what appears to be automatically-generated text as the site description. This description isn’t even anything to do with my site’s content, it says
“Primary Widget Area. This theme has been designed to be used with sidebars. This message will no longer be displayed after you add at least one widget to the …”
And I don’t even have a widget sidebar.
I have tried deactivating all other plugins I have been using – there aren’t many, and I don’t have the one you talk about above – but there is still no change.
I also have another site which is affected. I have been using All in One SEO on that site for a while and have never had any problems, but I have recently checked it by searching in Google, and the site title and description are not shown as I set them. But in this case, the description is generated from site text.
So, after all that, can you help?
Sami
P.S.
The new site I’m having problems with is https://www.romackservices.com, and the older site which has recently started having problems is https://www.love-yourself-naturally.com.Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: Blog post excerpts on blog pageThat’s great, thanks.
One other question…
What if I don’t want to use the first few sentences, or whatever, but to write an excerpt?
I’ve just tried that (I think!) and the same thing happens… all other pages are fine, it’s just the shop home page that goes to a sort of default page.
